Just wanted to publicly thank you for having such fast service and for offering such great prices to us. I ordered koni shocks, lucas brake pads, racing fluid and camber bolts and when i rang him on a monday to ask if he knew where the parts were after confirming the order the week before, and after tracking down the number, he told me that they had already been signed in by my department at 7:30am in the morning!
Really happy with the way the car performs, so thanks again!
Here's the longer post

Yes I will thank Greg too.
Mainly for the quick replys - shipment.
I can also say some if not all of his advice is quite sound. Removing my own person factor- mainly Myself being a Driver of edge.
I recent took in some Lucas pads off his recomendation - I was against this for reason of I don't like them and I still don't like em. You might wonder what but.
They are right pad for everyone else. I have recommend them to others and they have worked for them.
They still dust lots sqwell and don't take real punishment- The last one applies to me more so. But I knew about the others from previous history.
Everything Greg said in that would would work fine they did. In fact for almost everyone else they have worked well and I have recommend GSL rallysport to many others, it's the best way to send thanks

Well I can definately say that's a first! QLD's heaviest rally car (The Cruisin' Auto Spares Datsun 240K), runs Lucas (I know, it was them who put me on to them), and they routinely knock off WRXEVO's in their 1600kg high HP beast...
I've never said Lucas is the best, but for something that does offer better performance than Bendix Ultimate, and about the same as Green Stuff, and is dirt cheap, they fit the bill for 99% of people. I've won state rallying titles on them (2005 QLD Rally Champion Clubman P1), and still have them in the rally car now. Next year I will however be going up to the QFM A1RM race pad in the Hyundai. Unfortunately the A1RM isn't a real street pad.
I still stand by, for a road car, that has to retain the qualities of a street pad, nothing will beat the Lucas for performance vs. dollars. And its not just my opinion either, Lucas won 'Race' Magazine (Australian Racing Technical Magazine) 'Brake Pad of Choice'!
Anyways, thanks for the feedback... appreciate it!

Just doing a bit of googling, and I think this bloke sums up Lucas' performance and limitations quite well..

I'm sure Dave and Nikki will get all warm and fussy that you have mentioned their 240K, NOT!!! LOL
I got RDA slotted rotor and lucas pads (2nd set in this car) and loved them from the start. Have handled all applications quite well for me.
Also I'm sure putting on new rotors RDA that were 22mm thick insted of 20mm thick 200,000 old rotors helped out alot too.

Well I think your right
Dollar V performance- 100% true
but dollars don't really count to me.
I'm using the pads I bought off your right now and they are good for street and I can deal wityh the squelling. I just know that remove the performance aspect I can't sell Lucas pads at my old workshop to any customer. It's why they were dropped. Even though could get good deals on them. When I was doing that type of work. Customers who complained - in large numbers mean Problem.
as for them QFM's I don't think it's the modle I used but I did use one set that brakes excellent non stop heavy pull ups and good feel- but I did crack a set of rotors.
I really want to upgrade to bigger then 320mm but It means possible 18inch wheel. I don't want.
I just wish the lucas pads would not squeel. It's annoy sometimes I can live with it in the mx-6 but not in the daily drivers. Try sneeking arond and it's real pain. It's all lucas have to fix.
But I will be ordering more stuff from GSL rallysport in January - or maybe mid december - you can count on it. Because you can't go wrong. IMO

I'm so curious now... *plays dramatic music*
I'm very happy with my Lucas pads. Only thing is that they're a bit powdery and dusty, and my front rims end up looking bronzed after a few weeks but I can deal with that since the performance of it is much better than what i used to use and the price doesn't kill my wallet.

Its amazing the difference in service you get from someone who has to to make a living vs. some 14yr old at supercheap that gets paid the same regardless of what sh!t comes out of his mouth!
Thanks guys!
