i voted "other" too. not a big fan of clear lights anymore. i think the lancers killed the look of em.

I was thinking tinted because my car is a dark colour and like sik i think lancers killed the look.
That Astina looks pretty nice with those jeroente how much of that pic is real??
I saw a GTS coupe yesterday with very different clear lights do they come with those??? I s that what you want Mal??
I'm still undecided any other ideas would be helpful.

Yeah I love the red ones with the circle brake light and then the 2
small clear circles for the indicator and reverse lights.

Maybe I should buy a Monaro that would solve by rear light and gearbox
woes !!

you end up with piston slap then

Rupewrecht
09-09-2003, 01:41 PM

ACTUALLY I DONT DAN
I HAVE TASTES WAY TO OUT OF MY LEAGUE WHICH IS WHY
I'VE STAYED SINGLE FOR SO LONG.

BACK TO THE MONARO COULD BE OK TO THRASH A CAR FOR
6 MONTHS AND THEN HAVE A FREE ENGINE REBUILD.

I been trying to get my dad to thrash his so it gets rebuilt... but no... he babies like its going blow at any moment.

I just one night of thrashing pleasure and I will get a rebuild!!!

you guys need to factor in the waiting list for rebuilds... have you forgotten it is a holden v8??!!!! haha.
also watch for the diff alignment to 'shift', dodgy wheel bearings, gearbox and rattles a plenty!! oops, did i mention this is just for the gts coupe? hehe. my cousins has been on market for 2 months, still not sold!
i saw a black cv8 with clear lights last night... but the filling was black... looked ****e with the black colour.

The Altezza light looked nice... when it came only on the IS200, but the Lancers have wrecked the look.... too common?

For the Astina (BA series) I reckon tined rear lights look nice! The previous owner did it to my hatch (tinted and a coat of clear applied to it) and it makes the back look a bit different to the standard lights at the back! :D

Cheers

Hey SSman,

These photoshoped rearlights are from a Mazda 6 called in Europe. They are shopped on the white one but he`s working to make them fit well for real on it`s Lantis V6. Jeroen has his own tuning shop in The Netherlands now a days and hey making progress on his car. Maybe he`ll sent you some pictures soon. i try to make him do this for you.

I also posted my oppionion on the Quote. And i made Toyota Supra Mk4 rear lights fit at my 323f bg. I had Crystals but they show up along to many times.

See ya Christian de Jong

I agree with the other comments, lancer's have over done the altessa look. I'm a big fan of the lights on my BJ2, with the circles.

DIY: scratch it up with fine sandpaper. Primer, colour, gloss. Awesome.
PAINTSHOP: Hand over car and some cash
I'll be doing the same thing (haven't decided which method) in a few weeks.
As for kits there's a stickied thread in the bodykits forum "what's available for BA". Alot of links are outdated or dead but a few still work.
