I own a 1995 Ford Probe SE, which shares the same engine as the last generation Ford Laser and the current Mazda Astina. I was interested to see what other people were doing with their cars especially the 2.0L engine. A few days ago I was searching the internet and found this website. I live in the United States where of course there is Protege which is about the same as the Astina. The Astina is a beautiful car with some great potentional and I will try to learn anything i can about it! :)

Just thought I would share some pictures of my car and some car meets I have been to here in the states.

My engine when i purchased my car and what it currently looks like

hehehehe..... Altona. Guido said that 'Uncle Jim said that to get to Korea you take the Western Ring Road to the turnoff at Altona.....' Thats the only way ive heard of it. Sad huh? The only place ive stayed in Melbourne was in Sunshine. I've been told thats the only place in Melbourne not to go. not too bad tho.

ANYWAY, back to the topic (sorry). I love the Probe. Not that common over here. Love the colour u have, and the mesh inserts look good. Those were the standard SE wheels werent they? What about the rear spoiler, is that through Ford or someone else. Wouldnt mind seeing the back. Engine bay looks good..... but are u feeding any cold air up into the filter? Its pushed a fair way back!

I lurve that green one next to yours with the subtle front spoiler and huge rear wing. Looks sweet.....

Welcome aboard Charger GL :)

The Probe was available here only with the 2.5 litre V6 engine, and one way or another didn't really capture the public's imagination.
This has much to do with Ford Australia really having NO IDEA when it comes to promoting their better product....lost the plot a number of years ago.

Your Probe is looking very smooth indeed, a good Aussie "Onya!" (that's a good thing....)[/color:post_uid0]
