After trying to get a Distributor cap (and leads which weren't too hard to find{3rd shop tried}) the guy at auto barn did the ring around for me because I came in twice to pick it up when it was meant to be in and was not :x . I had already tried 2 places and he tried 5 or 6 others only to find that everyone was out of stock.
AutoBarn's supplier of their supplier's supplier was out :!:
So he rang Mazda parts :roll: ready for 2 or 3 times the price difference they too had none in stock but said it would cost him around $100 and so he would charge me around

..........$140 :!: :!: YIKES

They call me luv when I go there.... and I hate that!!!!!

I go to Super Cheap Auto's or AutoPro.

To be honest, I hate going into any auto store, they look at me like I am some sort of freak.....

NO COMMENTS from the peanut gallery please!

But back to my point, AutoBarn are the worst.

Try SuperCheap Auto's first.

Geez I only paid $20 at my local repco for a ford laser cap which is
exactly the same (Note this is a TX3 5 plug for turbo). Try checking
for a KJ laser cap as its the same BP motor as a BA Astina.

I'm not the only one :shock: Hey can Lantis or Rupewrech look into that?

My advice would be to go to Mazda your self and tell them you are a Mazda club member (you may get it for trade). or try Ford and say you have a '96 twin-cam laser.

think its fixed. was a security update that Lantis installed and PhpBB hadnt released a patch for it yet...thats why the debug error on all the Poll topics etc

I'm with you on that one!!! I tried repco and supercheap 1st because they usually pretty good.

The one I ordered only cost me bout $20 too.

Though I should have know mazdas price would be over the hill I still didn't expect it to be that bad!!!
