Hey Guys,
I got told that I will be made redundant. Am so scared.
I got a good payout so money is not a problem for a while
but after 9years in the same job the prospect of job hunting.
I did want this it but cant help feeling scared of not having
a job. I will be working at the company for another month
so you will still see me posting during the day.

Catch you all later

Hey Tony,
Yeah I work with Cisco. So its Frame Relay, ATM, MPLS
etc. Gotta get my Resume up to date as been a while
since I needed it. Hopefully with some careful budgeting
I should be able to do a little work to the car eg respray
and maybe some other little toys. Main aim for this is to
get cash for a deposit for a house so I can start making
money and not just pissing it away.

So anybody know cheap(But good) places for a respray.

Mal
p.s Tony any chance of you finishing the rear wing for me
please :)[/color:post_uid1]

sorry to hear about the redundancy mal... but things happen for a reason, and a much better opportunity could be just around the corner... keep your head up, heaps of experience should get you through![/color:post_uid0]

Unless they come back at you at say you're "too experienced"..... :(

Hopefully that won't happen though, they normally use that as a polite way of saying "you're too old for the job". I don't think Mal is going to have that problem......[/color:post_uid0]

Don't know about that one. I am having my mid-life crisis
birthday party in a couple of months. Not sure of the
particulars but its likely to involve all the bad stuff ala
sex, drugs and rock and roll(Except it with be Tance/Techno)
Maybe do it in Canberra as the strip clubs are a lot cheaper
down there. Nah, I know too many sleezy joints up here.

Will let you know about it as your all invited.

Just allow a couple of days afterwards as the last BDay party
we had lasted for 3 days non stop. *Its amazing how the body
reacts to things after being awake for days. *I slept for a solid
24hours afterwards (When I could fall asleep) :) but had the
best time. *Any idea's guys, I have done the boat cruise round
the harbour so looking for something different but isolated so
that people can get crazy without fear of the police barging
in. *Don't want to hire out a strip club or anything like that as
also want to ask girls to come along. *Maybe hire out the top
floor of the pub I frequent a lot. *

So idea's welcome

Sydney mate,
Thought the harbour cruise comment would have given it
away. I wouldn't mind getting a job straight away as if I take
a break I will like it and get slack. *Don't want to spend
the payout just on living expenses sooner spend it on
fun stuff like the car and maybe a rear projection TV.
Thats more fun to me than a holiday anyway. *Just
had 2 weeks off as well.

regards

Mal[/color:post_uid1]
