Just bought a V6 and some bastard's knocked off the fog lights! Does anyone have any for sale?

Good luck,
Most 1.8 owners want them until they ask Mazda for the price, about $600 for the hatch and (drumroll) $1200 for the hardtop.

Time to pop down to Autobarn for after market ones.

Yeah - I freaked when I found out the Mazda price!!! Luckily they left the brackets otherwise I'd be up for another $62 each for them as well.

Thanks for the link - do you know if the Hella lamps are the same dimension as the factory ones?

the Hella etc rectangular ones are a bit squarer, but i think they fit in the same opening.

i'll find out the dimensions of the hella ones - i've got the 2003-2004 catalog at home..

its hard finding the geniune ones mate i found a wrecker selling them for $400 a while ago but i dont no what kind of condition there are in.
just try and get a set that similiar to them, i got a set thats very close for $70 and they look pretty good

you can make a bracket using a flat, square sheet of metal. Just cut it to size. Put two screws down the bottom two corners of the metal that will line up to the holes in the inside of the front bar. Then cut two teeth into the top part so that it looks like devil horns :twisted: which will slide up into the two loopy (semi-circle) bits on the inside of the front bar. then u just have to drill a hole in the middle where the lights will bolt to. just make sure u get lights with adjustable brackets.
Its easy to do just hard to make sense of what i just wrote

Great stuff guys. I measured the fog lamp openings (6.5in x 4.5in) and bought a cheap set with the same dimensions from K-Mart (cost 50 bucks!!!!) and they look just like factory fitted ones.

Man, I just love that growl the V6 makes when you stretch it out! I was reading in some review recently that they can usually work up to 7000rpm (cause that's where the real power lies) although I'm too afraid to push it THAT hard. I took it up the freeway and opened it up and I tell ya! She flew in the top end range!!!!!!
