Pretty good, depending on what you're after. So far we've only priced open face helmets (for rally obviously), and their cheapest one is $149, whilst the Snell SA2000 (highest helmet rating in the world, and as an example can be used used right up to WRC level) open face one is only $299, and weighs 1300grams! VERY good when compared to the equivalent sparco/stilos etc.
Haven't priced any of the close faced ones but all very good pricing so far.

what do you have in an open face helmet that complies with ASA1698?

HJC CL31, all AS1698, all $149 available in various colours.

But if you're worried about AS1698 for CAMS events, Snell SA2000 superseeds AS1698 by a factor of about 22 million.... SA2000 is the highest rated FIA approved helmet, and approved right up to WRC level.
HJC AR3 is specifically designed for car racing, is SA2000 approved, is available only in white, is only 1370grams and $299.

Do you have these in stock at all? For testing as I have a big head. Or if it requires ordering, how do we get the right size? Delivery time from ordering? Required by 26th April. :) You know why!

We're buying them in as we need them, but keeping some stock in along the way. We've only just setup this supplier so we haven't got any in stock, but all that we've inquired about have had good availability so far.
You're probably going to be a large at a guess. I've actually got the CL31 myself (bought it ages ago), and its a large, so from that if you want to try it you'll either know whether you're a M, L, or XL.
If you go here:

One of the last pages has the measurements for fitting if that helps.

Hi Greg, Can you get me a price on the AR10 please, or, if it's well over the $250 mark, i just want a full face fiberglass...do HJC offer any full faces in that price range?

yeah, its a little over the mark! (eek... RRP $549) There's bugger all on most of these helmets, I could probably get it down to $500-520...
So only about double the mark! :p
The AR3 is $299, the CL-31 is $149.. both open face though.
The only other closed faced ones we've priced up are:
- CL15 Session $299
- CL15 Solid $279
- CL-SP $349

Whoa...geeze you're not wrong!
The CL15's look pretty good...haven't read up on specs yet, but i'm guessing the HJC quality is pretty good accross the range. Session and Solid I'm guessing just refers to colours?
Not sure if you know or not, but I've been looking at a local retailer here in newcastle and he recommended Rjays helmet for my budget. Just wondering how they would compare the the HJC's and whether the CL15 is better than the GP1 (http://www.rjays.com.au/home/products/helmets-gp1-plain.html).
Just read up before i posted and the CL15's are Polycarbonate Composite...what would you prefer to have on your head? Polycarbonate Composite or Fibre glass?
Sorry for all the questions, but I'm quite new to this helmet bizzo, and I just want the best for the money i want to spend.
P.S.
Thanks for getting back to me on the prices.

Yep, as far as I know session and solid are just the different colours.

Dunno. We've also got M2R helmets as well, but as most of the stuff we do is open face, I haven't seen most of them, so really only know as much as the brochue says. Anymore and I'm just making it up! :p

Don't really know the difference to be honest. Polycarbonate is just a fancy word for plastic though... To me if its got the standard it doesn't matter and I'd wear either. Often its more so a reduction in weight than any actual protection benefit.

polycarbonate is a lot tougher than fibreglass. is used in armored truck windshields as its bulletproof if thick enough (24mm i think). It would however be heavier than fiberglass.
