I'm wanting to upgrade the brake rotors on an October 2002 BJII J48 Astina 1.8, and haven't been able to find any yet. Anyone know where to find some?
The present brakes work ok, but are getting very rusty and don't really match the shiny new Enkei RPF1's:D

DBA do slotted, and slotted and cross drilled rotors for a BJ. I've got the slotted ones on my car. Or you can go all out like twiggy with RX-7 rotors and stuff, a proper big brake upgrade.

Thanks, odd though, I didn't see any for the BJ 4 stud wheels in their catalog. Closest I found was for the KN, KQ Laser, front only. I'll give them a call.

Sorry about the late reply, as I posted in the other thread:

Firstly the rotors:

Front RDA Slotted $190 for the pair
Rear RDA Slotted $195 for the pair
Front or rear RDA Gold Passivated Slotted and Dimpled $325 for each pair

If you're after a bit of pose factor, then you couldn't go past the EBC Gold passivated rotors as above. They have the look of cross drilled without the cracking issues, and are passivated so won't rust where the pad doesn't sweep:

As for pads, a good, low dust and wear pad that'll still give outstanding performance is the QFM HPX. Haven't currently got any here, so would be about 2-3 weeks for manufacture, and these are $75 pet set front or rear.

Regards,
Greg

Thanks, I gave DBA a call and they do have Street Series slotted rotors for this car, which would be fine for me. For the sake of those searching: Front DBA 537S and Rear DBA 539S. I'll check out those pads and RDA rotors too.
It will be several weeks until I can afford anything though.

The DBA537SL/SR are $150 each, and in stock in Sydney. The DBA539SL/SR are also $150 each, but nill stock everywhere if we ordered them by 1pm today would be 2 weeks wait, or else 4 to 6 weeks.

I'd go the RDAs anyway...
