Just to those who want a bit of bass added to their system without spending too much or desiring to enter db comps......
I spent $300 for sub and amp, and no it aint no "audio gods" fulsik ****. The sub is a 12" sony... yea yea Sony speakers are **** and the rest but it sounds good enough to me. The Amp - an APRA (they do a helluva lot of commercial stuff such as cinema amps, made in the USA right next to Kicker) Mk2.120.... 2 years ago retailed for $650, bargain brand new, although sitting idle for that time, for $129. RMS 2 x 120w at 4 ohms < 0.08%THD. Warranty and all. Theres only 2 left at Srtathfield Parramatta, dont think any other stores have them. Overall, system sounds much better than the $300 i spent to upgrade it. Definately nothing like those who spend 3-4 times as much, but much better buy than the dodgy XM222 Sony amps (44w vRMS yea!)/ clarion/ pioneer/ kicker similar products, or the big shiny time-bomb copies.
