hi all, new member, but been around the community for a while, still a member over at fordlaser.com.
Used to own a yellow KF laser, but recently sold it for something more reliable.
just purchased a 92 BG 323, great body in white, 139500km on the sohc BP motor.
recently found out autopro are terrible at parts and dont want to even hear that the BG came in a SOHC 1.8 litre (are you sure? it must have had the B6 motor put in it! talk to mazda)
2 minuites at repco got me all the info i needed *rolls eyes*
currently getting a bit too high fuel economy for my tastes (9.5 p 100) so big service day this weekend coming up (well, its due anyways)
changed the oil and filter last weekend, but this weekend is a nice service of;
- new fuel filter
- air filter
- plugs and leads
- distributor cap and rotor
- transmission oil
- checking the timing
- removing wheels to check odd suspension clunk (assuming at the moment its bushes)
and hopefully it will thank me in return with slightly better fuel economy and a long life :)
although the car itself is fairly great handles awesome compared to the old laser!
soon to come hopfully though, nothing major since im saving for police studies;
- king springs front and rear
- new bushings
- front strut brace
- rear swaybar
- new shocks, but theyre perfect at the moment apart from that odd clunk at the front (nothing a 22 dollar pedders check wont help)
- oh and a nice USB JVC headunit with simple 6" at the front and 4" in the back.
