Best BA I have seen for a while

I woke up this mornin n got ready to go to uni. I drove up to garden city n got a park and saw the best looking BAAAAAA astina i have seen for a while.

I was impressed to the max and took a few pics...it wasn't until a few moments ago when i was looking at the pic to upload on here that i realised there was an Astinagt sticker on the back. So i looked at the number plate n it said 70nyd.

So congrats 70NYD you turned my head, Tis a very sexy car.

oh those were the normal tail lights that i painted over. i now have the clear alteze ones, cue those ones got scratched. n the way i frosted the actuall lightup part of the lese didnt really work cus the frosting spray took waaay to long to dry, and i over estimated and put to much on. i was gonna change them anyway cus the frosting didnt allow any light thru during the day. looked reaaaly good at nite, but the scratch forced me to change them faster than i wanted. i still have them but il make something like that member from holland with a BG, that made his own ones, and modified the rear bumper... i forgot his screen name now :( (im really bad with names)

ye so did i, but i just couldnt b fkd sanding them down n respraying them. the scratch ran all the way accross most of one of them :(

i parked it there 4 uni n when i came back it was scratched :( im guessing somone keyed it but its strange cus traditionally ppl scratch the car itself not tail lights :( might of been a accident or a trolley handle

Thats a shame, i liked the look of the frosted lights. they had a...european look i guess. Can't pin point it but it looked more of a euro car mod and it looked good.

but like i said it wast working good anyway. problem with the frosting i used, n i dont know if any other one has this problem is that it depends on the surface it goes on to. so when i frosted a bit of glad wrap n put it over the tail lights to c what it would look like just ONE coat did wonders. but when i applied it to the red surface of the light it looked realy realy pink. so i added more coats. but each coat i put on, sort of melted the previus coat, and only increased the whitness a little bit, but it decreased the light distribution. this didnt really bother me cus i dont do alot of day driving. it looked great day n night, but it only worked good during the nite. i bought these alteza lights temporarily. the old ones i will (try) n take the front lenze off and make another one out of clear perspex n then paint n frost it, from the inside, so its still shiny. that way i dont have to worry about the weather effects or the clear coat. il prob use some higher heat paint cus i dont know how the normal paint would behave in direct exposure to the lightbulbs. also that way the frosting will behave alot better. just have to get the red bulbs then.. what do u think?
