IMO its just an advanced version of the Wii-remote and not a real motion capture like that seen with microsofts project natal.

game most played today is gta4, also got assassins creed and juiced 2 (don't think assassins creed is multilayer though). any suggestions on games worth looking into? and is it worth buying a steering wheel now, or waiting till gt5 comes out and buying it as a package then

I found the Tomb Raider Underworld demo really challenging [I had to cheat and lookup youtube for a guide]. I'm gonna buy it when I get through the other 4 games sitting here... :p

I might jump on Metro 2033 when the price comes down [and I agree about the GFX for now]. But I'm looking at getting COD MW2 and Wolfenstein next.

The games that have been taking up my time lately are Tomb Raider Underworld and Legend [both completed in that order :p], and currently playing through Pure, Sega Rally, and CMR DiRT 2. I've finished a few games on 360 and PC this year too.

yeah just cause 2 is ok... but the grapple isnt as strong as one would like... you see videos of 747s pulling jeeps into the air... thats a modded game... i can mod it on Pc - with an app called BOLOPatch - but i dont see how anyone on a console could do that.

PC games always look better, but you have the continual $$$ to spend on the inevitable upgrade path to consider [think Crysis, etc...], and you miss out on the gamer score points. :p I like consoles too, but I just wish they could do more PC type stuff. At least PC games are often cheaper when available.

well dont forget theres Xfire - it does stats such as hours played of what game and what level your at... and its not all that dissimilar to RustyKaos' signature. yeah but with eb and the like theres the down side that they dont do tradeins grrrrrr... n i just spent 900$ on my pc 5 months ago and now i need to upgrade at a cost of about 600$ again so i can play metro on full =D YAY!

Yeah, but Metro 2033 and Crysis 2 at full settings will laugh at your Xfire! :p I had 2XHD4850s for a while, and they didn't fare up to Warhead so well. :(

I've currently got a 3ghz C2Q with a single HD5770, and I'm not sure Xfiring would cope with Crysis 2. So it might be easier to get it on the 360 and enjoy gamer score with rougher graphics. :o

Crysis is fine... But what about in Warhead at the end level with all those Matrix inspired squids flying around? :( Warhead was really taxing on my system for some reason. :confused:

I'm just worried a 3.0gz C2Q and 2xHD5770 won't cope with Crysis 2 when it's relesed. :eek:

Since I reached the highest level [70] on COD MW2, I started playing COD WAW the other day. I had an online game with Matt tonight, and we had the best time. This game might get overshadowed by MW2, but it's really worth checking it out, and finding a gun you like and sticking with it! Go for the Thomspon, MP40 [when unlocked] for short to medium range, and the BAR and Type100 [when unlocked] for medium to long range work. The DP-28 and Type 99 are very good for medium to long range, but I find them hard to see with, and slow to site. I'm a hopeless sniper, so I don't get into the rifles, so you'd have to work them out for yourselves. The Double Barrelled Shotgun is fun to use after you unlock Sleight of Hand. :) But it's pretty useless for anything but the really tight/small maps... Calling in Killstreaks is much easier in this game [no need for an airdrop...], but you can't choose them. It's a game worth checking out, even if you passed on it when it came with your console.

I purchased a Forza 3 & Halo 3 ODST bundle a week ago and received it this arvo, chucked FM3 in and man what a sweet car game! Graphics are awesome, great car handling feel, only downside it takes a while to load tracks etc but all is forgotten when out racing :D

I have been playing for a good 2.5hrs, done about 15 races and have modded up a 09' Ford Fiesta & 01' Mazdaspeed Familia, with the Familia being the favourite :D with 287kw, it can only manage a 13.8sec 1/4 mile time, cause the bitch got no traction in 1st, 2nd or 3rd! :eek:

Also im liking how its incorparated some of the well known bodykits for the BJ into the game, like a DGM/AutoExe lip or Eurebuni/Mint Blue lip! :D

I had to laugh when I found out you can upgrade intake manifolds, with my initial thinking something without VICS :p

you find a large improvement with it on the hard drive also the disc drive will be a lot quiter because i doesent have to spin it anymore only to check if you have the game
if you play online with it this will also improve load times and framerates
but its rare to find someone playing intense games without a HDD online
theres also other things you can do too speed up load times
such as emptying the inbuilt cache and getting rid of saves you dont use anymore or movies. it all helps to speed things up
also a fast internet speed is great

its the only real true racing game...track gets grippier the longer out there...tyres wear...rain can come on halfway through a race & have to go into pit lane to change to wet tyres...you can change your downforce settings during race, also the fuel settings...

I have yet to play it as yet, but possibly getting it next week for my b'day :D So really cant comment on if its the "best", as I still think Gran Turismo 4 is... Forza 3 comes a close 2nd for me, but as said before, will have to wait till I actually sit down and play for a couple hours ;)

it sounds like a great race game but its only F1. which is a big let down
i prefer GT1,2,3,4 and FM1,2,3 because you can race whatever you want and there are so many classes and things that can be done

i got red dead redemption the other day which i think is one of the greatest games ever
but im a HUGE Grand Theft Auto fanboy and ive loved ever one of them

ive played halo i just didnt like it
poor story (in my view), bad guns, terrible graphics on the first two, who names the main character master cheif???, didnt really do anything new to which they claimed that a regenerating sheild ( big woop) was the first in any game. however games like free space and other space simulators were using that idea in the early ninetys

but most of all its the people that play the games they rave and rave on about it. i went online a few times at a mates house because he told me its the best game online
all i had was some nerds screaming HACKING YOUR ACCOUNT!!!!!!! every time they shot at someone. its the most overrated game in my oppion. people will disagree with me im sure. but give me a AK47 and a RPG over a "needler" any day

I find that its the same with any game online...The game makers should set it up so that the user is playing people of the same skill (like me - who plays maybe 1-2hrs a week), as this really puts me off playing someone that has a higher skill level and has advantages...

Bl'ops is great. I only experienced lag on the 360 last Thursday when I got it. But there were 3.3 million people online that night. PoS3 guys have been complaining about lag, and the PC got the royal pork sword in a big way. A patch came out a few hours ago, and that may resolve the PoS3 and PC versions?

So I have had the Kinect since thursday, and absolutley love it :D Just the freedom of getting up and playing is wicked, but you get a good workout too! ;) We only have Kinect Adventures & Joy Ride, and will hopfully purchase EA Active 2 soon :)

The wife bought me an early Christmas present :D Now to actually get the wife off the damned thing!!

Its basically a custom built frame with a Drift Carbon Fibre seat & Logitech G25 wheel, pedals & shifter. It is built to be used for a PS2, PS3 & PC, but have bought a converter so that'll work with the Xbox, now to wait till it arrives. For now I'll have a ball on GT4 :D

Received my XCM F-1 on Monday, and purchased a genuine wired Xbox controller and finally gave it a good tonight, there's no force feedback and the deadzone is a little off, but being able to use a proper steering wheel with paddles on Forza 4 is good enough for me :D
