Do you really have to remove the bootlining to get to the taillights to replace the bulbs???? :?:

No,
For a BA hatch.
If you open the hatch there are two screws, undo 'em.
Now push the assembly toward the side of the car (there are two clips) takes a little care and patience.
Then you have access to the bulbs.
BA Hardtop, same but they pull out to the rear not the side.

thanks the globes are fine spoke to a friend who said that the lights in the dashboard and the taillights are on the same circiut ? is this true because the dash goes dark now and again so maybe it could be faulty switch or wiring any ideas would be nice :?:

on the dash theres a switch that u roll up and down to get the dash brighter and make it go dark. did you touch that?

Got it sorted the damn switch got 2 power trannys in replaced them in the switch and haapy days dsh board lights are fine and taillights are cool
