Nah, if he was good the gates would be tight and close and he wouldn't need to be driving a hypo Subaru.
Clarkson drives like that on Top Gear the difference is that Clarkson admits it's all show and he doesn't pretend it's a race course.

handbrake is hydraulic, not cable, and still on the rear axle.

nah i understand that they are a sponsor, i just find it stupid that a skate company sponsors a rally car, or any car for that matter. thats just my point of view. i know anyone can sponsor anything, but i find it hard to see how they would reach a target audience thats all ;)

Young people = expendable cash = they buy shoes as a fashion statement, not just as something to wear

Rally = plenty of young people watch it = are exposed to DC shoes, they see and recognise them in a store, are more likely to consider them.

Halo effect of exposing DC Shoes to a wider audience that may not have otherwise even known of their existence.

Dont forget that rallying in america is part of the X-Games / X-treme sports group. Which also includes BMX, inline skating, skiing and snowbroading. So DC fits well into the marketing for this group of people.
