Commonwealth Bank Issues

Anyone else experiencing issues with Commonwealth Bank?

Just checked out my account online, I'm in debt $600 and have a mysterious extra $1000 in another account. When i tried to move money to my first (debit card) account, that money disappeared completely. Well and good they think they will have it fixed by tomorrow, but what if i need money NOW!? With $600 in debt, it wont let me take out cash :mad:

I got so pissed a them i just changed banks to ANZ. Neva had a problem since, except for my work credit card is with westpac and they i believe r the worse one eva

I dont work in retail but the "back office" of the bank, but all in all, they are good, not being biased or anything :p

there was something on the news about this, this arvo...they are trying to fix this as soon as possible...most people were in dept or had massive amounts of money in there accounts...

hopefully it will be fixed soon...

You gotta put it in perspective but, statistically there should be alot more of this happening. They have over a few million customers with multiple accounts etc.... To me having one mishap every now (rarely) is amazing. To keep track etc.. But it is realllllly gay when it happens to you :(

Yeah missing money alright.

I went to the ATM and I'm like ? what the hell my balance was $0.06 cents I'm like - AH where is my money gone.

I'm sure I didn't buy more stuff of rupewrencht Yet. LOL

But yeah I'm down thousands they say it wil lbe fixed ASAP but they can go and get stuffed. Where is my money !

its prolly just a virus in their system or something
im with commbank to but i havent been affected
i know how it feels cus i had my money stolen before, but at least all of you get urs back ;)

but as for changing banks i wouldnt, with economy the way it is if it goes the way of america and banks start going bankrupt then youd want your money somewhere safe and whats more safe than the bank of commonwealth right ;) im just babbling now but :p

Actually id vouch for bendigo, been using them for 8yrs and got the skoda with their hp which was much better than elsewhere. Only suckybits with them are since merging with Adelaide bank some of that banks flaws came too. I'm hoping they don't end up like what happened with metway and suncorp as that went to crap

all the issues have been fixed...was a glitch in there system were it was doubling money going in and out of accounts...

All I can say is I hear you on that one, Yes its been one big change, we got told last week that processes we do day in day out will be outsourced, to bring us inline with how adelaide do there business... But this is only affecting backoffice staff (which is me...)

Not to worry, as of April next year all 25 Adelaide branches will change over to Bendigo systems, and you will be able to as a Bendigo customer go into an Adelaide Bank & do banking!

CB has been my bank since I was a kid and I've always been happy with them.

Most banks would have had a glitch at some point in time.

one time with anz i took out 200 and it said i still had it.
its been like 7months and they still havnt.
im not complaing or anyhting but i had a free weekend :P
