G'day I have had the little SP20 Astina from new in 2002 and it's been a great car still only 62,000 Kms and stock it's auto as my wife can only drive auto's which limits me in buying family cars as auto's only.
Second Mazda I've owned and have no complaints but it does ride a little rough but handles very well.

I have an instrest in cars in general having owned a 1982 Corvette Collecter I imported from the US in 1994 and have a Buick as a hobby car. So I join a few forums to read posts about them.

The autos go well in the little Mazda but not as much fun to drive as a manual and with my wife driving it most of the time I doubt wether the mechanics will wear out for many years.
Must admit there build quality is good for what they are.
A couple of pics of the vette on the Big Sur rd in the US and converted in Australia and one of my Buick.

Keep your Mazda their great daily cars to drive the US cars are not really practical but something different to drive and attened car shows. I sold the Corvette did some house reno's and brought the Mazda SP20 with the money I got from the sale.

Love the Red SP20!! You don't see many red ones.
I love my SP20, but one day I would love to do up an old '69' Stang. I love American muscle cars too.
