Newbie from Wiley Park ydney

Hi guys

The name is Rumz. Great site. I actually joined just to see a pic of a worked protege, but i got interested in the site as there are heaps of active members and everyone seem friendly

Anyway I drive a BA1163 Protegé - 1.6 DOHC 1998. Found it on carsales.com.au, I think its an import coz none of the aust release seem to fit my spec. I dont have power windows or cenral locking and the aust relase model seem to have them as factory standard. Or maybe i just dont know. Any idea on how i can check. So far not much work is done to it as i just bought it. I had a pod filter installed, sounds a little nicer. Got central locking/alarm. And got a decent sound system.

Well, great site, keep it alive and anyone out here with similar protege wanna give me tips and suggestion is more than welcome to drop me a line. Oh and pic coming soon, weather is terrible so i havent washed my car (embarressed)

As for you car, the protege did come with a 1.6 (B6-ZE) motor and a lack of any electrical features in Australia. Their was alot of variances for the protege models as the were aimed at a broad range of buyers. Small economical 1.6L engine with no extra except air con for older retired buyers, or bigger 1.8L engines with all the electricals included for families etc. Or it could be an import as you said.

Yup u guessed it. Im indonesian. Well i got some japanese writing on the back of my car. Its says familia if im not wrong, so yeh, i guess i'll look into it more. Well sydney weather is crazy, u could have sun in the mornign and a thunderstorm in the arvo. so yeh. But pic will come soon.. promise.

any site selling aftermaket parts for my car??
