Hi guys,

I'm having a set of JIC coil-overs for the SP20 imported from the US. Does any one want to do a group buy? The cost will be about $2500-$2600, or even less depending on how many people we get. The JIC coil-overs at the moment are one of the best, or maybe even the best, on the market. The set I’m getting are the flagship model (FLT-A2). With the Aussie dollar doing pretty good at the moment it's a good time to get these.

Check out their website for more info: http://www.jic-magic.com/productsjic_susp.htm

If anyone is interested please let me know A.S.A.P.

Thanks

Interesting....

I am off to Whiteline next week to get some stuff done.....

Heads up: was there today and an alloy strut brace was pre-manufactured off my car as a "mule". Production item available in next 10 days, mine will be the first :)

I am going the Koni Sport Yellow route with mine. I'd be real interested to know in what way, apart from height adjustability, the JIC's might outperform the Koni's....

The Koni's are less than half the price, $1100 for a set of 4.

Coilovers means adjustable suspension. u can adjust the height of ur car any time.

Hi Chris,

I believe the price of $1100 for the Koni's is US. The price of $2500-$2600 i quoted is Aus. If the price of $1100 is AUS then the Koni's are not coil-overs. I guess the decision comes down to if you want coil-overs or not.

If the Koni's are coil-overs, do you know if the Koni's come complete with the upper pillow mounts, struts, etc.

Also, if your still interested in those Magnecor leads, i found someone in Sydney that sells them. They actually come out cheaper then getting them imported from the US. Let me know if you want anymore info.

Thanks.

Magnecor here in Aus are about $200 a set I got a quote for my BA
last week. The Koni's for $1100 from whiteline are only the struts
they are not coil-overs. The whiteline coil-overs are $3500.
There was another mob here in sydney that were doing a kit for
about $2500 including koni's forget the name of the place it will
be in previous posts.

I Bought my 8.5mm Magnecor leads from a place called Thundercords in Granville. I paid $110. They were moving at the time, so i don't know if $110 is the RRP or if that was a "we are moving" special.

Thundercords were the guys I called last week. For the 8.5mm for a BP 1.8
they quoted $200. I know SP20 are diff engine but cant see them being $90
cheaper.

If i remember correctly, the Magnecor leads for the 1.8 were a bit more expensive then the SP20. I also bought mine about 6 months ago, and on the week that they were moving.

there's only 2 leads instead of 4 for the FP and FS

TDK: can you tell any difference with the leads??
