well i had no trouble doing it to my bg astina (back when i had her) but i don't know if there is much difference between in the basic instalation of the speedo instrument cluster. but i'm keen as musted to give it a go.

Its not that hard really - I think that there are only 5 screws involved. Just need to be a bit careful not to scratch anything (especially the plastic over the instrument cluster). Pulling the plugs out of the instrument cluster is fun the first time you do it :P

I just dummied up doing an order for 5 sets, which work out to be is $52.30AUD each delivered, a good $30 cheaper if we bought our own! :eek:

Should we get this moving? I can organise, but will only be a BJ thing, and only for these rings, nothing else...

Im pretty sure I paid about half that for my Tokico whites (adjustables) delivered. Not saying that they are going to be find any cheaper - just that the exchange rate is crap at the moment and I prolly got them in on cheap USPS postage. Might be worth waiting a while for the exchange rate to improve.

bit pissed off regarding StreetUnit's take on the situ... I emailed them on Monday morning as the paypal transaction was cancelled, even though the amount of $1,005 was debited from my account...

This is what I got in reply

Any PayPal payment on our end has been refunded. PayPal is not and option for us to accept from your country. The only method that works is bank wire transfer. Let us know if you have any questions?



Bit pissed as it states you can use paypal for payment... so now I am waiting for the $1,005 to be placed back in my account (paypal states 5-7 working days) and I'll see if someone can do it via credit card.

You can still buy the unfinished ones for $24, works out to be around $60 landed seeing I got these when the exhange rate was around $0.71c... gotta take into account that I had a group buy, so was a little cheaper seeing I was given the discount code :D

Finished ones are $55, but in all honesty if you can paint, better off buying the unfinished versions...

Nah, just cleaned them with some solvent to remove all the grease and then lightly sanded them with green scotchbrite to take the marks out of them. White scotchbrite gave them a bit more of a polished look.
