Yeah same thing happened to me looking at a 2006(?) lancer with very few kms for $4000 before I bought the astina. I spoke to the owner and he said yeah, it's $14,000, and he'd had about 50 inquiries about it for being so cheap.

maybe an urban myth, but heard tell of a guy, about 7 years back now, was caught cheating, wife was divorcing and courts awarded her everything, was selling almost all 'His' sh!t so that she waould't get her hands on it.
Apparantly the dude had a twin turbo supra that he sold for a grand and treated himself to a massive bender.
Not sure of how true this story is.
On the other hand, most of the adds that seem too good to be true usually are, involving a car that happens to be in Canada, will need to be shipped... Please pay half now to a bank account in Kenya.... Need i go on?
