I Need Help With My Astina

i have a 1996 BA astina and i want to install a oil temp gauge, where is the sender in my engine?the positive and negative i can do myself just the sender is all i need to find, or some DIY install images would help Heaps CHEERS

there is no oil temp sensor/sender. you need to install a sandwich plate between the block and oil filter, and screw the sender into that.

you can add a oil pressure sensor to that also.

hey thanks bro, so what kind of plate? copper? or what ever, but like so if i stick that plate in and just attach the wire to that it would get a reading?

you will need to buy the sensor if you didnt get one with the guage.
