Alestorm - it's Scottish pirate metal and it kicks arse!
A Tribe Called Quest - talk about 100% pure soulful hiphop, no fronting, no gats.
Ratatat - both their hip-hop remix albums and their original electro albums are fantastic.
Girl Talk - i simply can not stop listening to Feed The Animals. it's a free download too, just google. apart from that album nothing else of his.

so yeh i like hiphop/rap, but only really by white guys or remixed by white guys. mashups are really doing it for me, but i'll always come back to something 'real' like metal/rock/country. plus i'll listen to any electronica that isn't cheesy trance or hardcore dancey stuff.

actually I'm listening to an old MJ CD of my wifes', off the wall........sad ey? :o you see she was a singer & dancer years ago & Micheal was her idol. Fair enough I suppose, he was talented but.....could never get into him. I liked his old stuff & the new CD offered in shops (2 CD pack) @ moment is really well recorded. I used it to test the Sound System I installed. AWESOME, really grunty CD! :cool: Actually, to be honest, I could get into him @ least a bit due to how awesome it sounds in my CD Player :eek: I just never got into dancing, I thought I was good...hehe....truth was I ewas a jerk on the dance floor :D
