Mazda astina 2000 surging problem

Hi ladies & Gents

I have a Mazda Astina 2000
Recently I had a knock sensor replaced to fix a surging problem
The car is still doing it. Upon acceleration it is slow to get off the mark also

Apart from that the car is great

Any ideas??

change the fuel filter and clean the injectors(ultrasonic or with a petrol addetive) and the throttle body(with the spray cleaner), i had the same problem before i did all this, i think if by surging you mean it feels slugish sometimes it feels like it might stal and a great loss of power at takeoff..

Have you got an aftermarket exhaust/header or intake? It could be that the EGR needs cleaning...
