not a fan of autos, but the low mileage is good.

has 99,000km, will need a $600 service at 100,000km if not done already.

It is rare to find a twelve year old car with less than 100,000km (99,000km IMHO is a little too convenient). Ask if you can get an NRMA check done (I have no idea on the cost) but I wouldn't pay more than $7,000 for a BA and it would need to be perfect for that money.

yeahh i was going to bring my brother in law along to talk it down to about $7,000, hes bought and sold quite a few cars and hes from Auburn(west syd) so he knows what dodgey things to look out for.
cheers for the speedy replies too.

i agree with Cosmo, $8,500 sounds pretty expensive. I got my 97 BA hardtop for under $7000, with 115,000km :) But i love my astina, such a fun drive, even though its still mostly stock lol.

*Made a typo. meant 115,00km not 150,00km
