I d/loaded the demo from www.ign.com
Is about 230MB but some hardcore sh!t!

The demo is straight out of the race @ the start of 2Fast2Furious movie.
You can do up Jap cars Full Rice!!!
Apexi, Jun, etc, etc accesories, turbos, suspension, mad kits & underbody neons.

I was playing on a mates comp and the only bonuses i seemed to be able to unlock were vynils haha (as in the sticker one's, not the music ones).

I just loooove the "lose control of the car bonus" aka the drift bonus.

it was only $69 at Electronic Boutique for the PC edition.. bargain...

It's pretty addictive at the moment.. I've got a stage 1 turboed + NOS enhanced MX5 as my ride in "Underground" mode.. :lol: That NOS thing is funny ****! In normal [arcade mode i guess you'd call it] I got a fully sick RX-7 [stage 1 + NOS].. :twisted:

is there a patch where u can just link up a couple of comps? or even better a couple of xboxes?

I'm playing the game now.. and i don't like it, it takes too long to get upgrades, just getting to much vinyls, it's useless, u don't even get cred points when u have the vinyls..

my fingers r numb, I've been playing it all day. =)

already finshed the game. only had it for over a week. they should give u the upgrades earlier in the game. :S u get the widebody right at the end

yeah they should have had a 'shop' where there r prices for items, that way, u can pick what u want to mod and u have an idea when u can get it.

u got any tips mick? i found that before drift races, detuning the car makes it easier to drift.

gday all, not been on for a while. just thought 'd post here.

bloody oath it's a good game! i've been playing it on xbox(borrowed a mate's). stayed up the whole night playing it last week. 11pm-7am. my finger's didn't forgive me for a few days. the xbox contoller didn't help. tip: don't do that. my worst was spending 30 minutes on ONE race.

Who else loves the drift mode? i've never seen a game with it. quite smart of the producers. i had 30-40k from one drift. how has everybody else done in that?

i wonder what all of you think about this:
i believe driving games are better on consoles, and 1st person shooters on computer. does anybody agree or have an alternative veiw?

for drifting I turn off the traction control ;) when I race, I run the cars off the road lol. it helps abit, thats about it for tips from me :)

The 240 has to be the best for the drift mode. 44,000 on drift track 4, with a fully upgraded 240. :D

Sick game, but the end is well... lacking. but i wont spoil it.

my trick is to keep the speed up even if it means not drifting for one corner. Also dont hit the walls.

Can't remember the lap score for that drift, was about 80,000 though from memory. I normally drift in 6 lap blocks so pay more attention to the end score really.

As Tony said - keep off them walls and keep the speed up, sureyou might miss 1 drift but you'll be going quick enough to put on a nice combo for the next one.

Oh, for the record, I think my big drift was on something like track 6.

hey guys, does money matter?

for those who have finished the game, how much money did u have left over? I usually play on medium for the races and hard for the drag, but the game is starting to get extremely hard, and was thinking of picking the easy games. I"m just worried abt not having enough money to unlock everything in the end so i have lots of combo mods i can do in the quick race section.

i was also thinking of switching cars more often, relative to the type of race i'm abt to start.

speed is good but speed and angle are better. If you can hold a sharp angle at a high speed, you will see the other side of 20K and x5 multiplier no problems. Chaining drifts is a good points earner too.

My best single score drift was around 35K.

yeah i just found out a few days ago abt NFSU 2.

I'm pretty excited abt it, can't wait for it to come out. hopefuly they will improve/fix all the features that got on my nerves in the first underground.

in the past EA games built games based on ps2 platform and then just past them over to the xbox, which ment the graphics were crap, only 2 players for multiplayer, and no systemlink/online gaming. so i hope all these get fixed for the xbox.

another thing was that we didn't know when the next upgrades would be unlocked and we didn't have much of a choice aswell, but by the looks of the screen shots of the garage, we have a cash value and will probably buy what we wat when we get anough cash for it.


on another note though, EA games will be releasing another exciting title which i can't wait for..... Burnout 3!!!! no more aklaim, but if it's as good as burnout2 then it's already a winner in my books. =)
