hey does anyone in qld know a good plummer???? my hot waster system has gone bust :(

its leakin out of the over flow at the bottom of the copper barrel. ow and its a gas system..

thanks mate. lol was goin to do that. but i just wanted to see if anyone could recomend some one thats all. lol you know give the work to someone with in the agt family. or a second cousin of the family lol :p

talk to dave (89sp1.8) hes a tiler & might no a good plumber from his line of work...or even nate!!!

Yeah, that seems to be an easy fix. Sounds like its your TPR valve thats busted.

often these things only need a part here or there and they are back in ship shape. people often replace 20 year old things like my spa heater but when my gas man came to have a look at it he said that the problem most probably lies in a $15 thermostat the size of a 5c piece.

thanks guy. :D i have a plummer comin around tomorrow. and i had a look at the tpr valve and its fine and in good workin order.

Then he should know what copper looks like.
Hot water systems are generally either steel or stainless steel with a sacrificial copper anode. If the tank was made of copper then they would be prohibitively expensive.

lol ya ya. i'm a sparky. but the hot water system i have (had) was a ceramic gas hot water system (in ur face cosmo dude lol :P). and it was replaced today yay hot showers :D
