Yeah, $10 for the trashed motor.........
does the motor have the farty noise as well as the exhaust, or did you have to work extra hard to make it sound that way......
Geez I missed ya Jynx Baby!!!!
Holidays are fun but it's good to be back! :P
Mental Picture: Mazda 121 bubble that farts..........

Probably a B6T would be an easier transplant than a BPT and you can get
very similar performance from the B6T anyway.

A BP twin-cam, extractors, 2 1/4" exhaust and CAI in an 850kg car :D I don't think a turbo is too nessesary. I'd start with a 1.5 Bubble thuogh as the 1.3s didn't have A/C (or it was rare) and had less sound deadening in them.
I think I've shared too much

Bolt a BPT into a metro 121 :)

i've actually been wondering if the V6 (K8 ) would fit, but i doubt there's enough room for that.
but yeah Rod, sounds like a good plan :)
There is no way i am going to drive a 121 that farts.... :P

May take a weekend, only issue may be adapting the 'stina wiring to the Bubble. Bubble is powered by either B3 or B5 motor which is same family as B6 and BP (all are from the old TC 1300 from early 70s Mazda 1300).
Ford Festiva also has the B3 and B5 engines, check www.fordfestiva.com there are some articles on swapping the B3 with BPT from the Capri.
You would want to check with the engine supplier when buying the engine as to weather the BP will fit on the B3 trany.

Hi Vix,
I didn't know Dan had a better half!! go Dan!
As for the bubble, don't go there!! At least go for the BG astina!! some sort of astina will do, but not the 121!!
Will get to meet you on the cruise tomorrow.
Cheers,
Bill

IMAGINA DANS ENGINE IS A 121.TORQUE STEER ANYONE?
YOU WOULDNT HAVE A BLINDSPOT WITH A CHASSIS THATSTWISTED 2.5 FEET TO THE RIGHT!!!!!!!!!
Kyra: I don't want an Astina...I want a 121 and no one can convince me otherwise.
I like Cosmo's idea but we will see....hehehehe
