Sorry if this topic offends anybody, but this is basically my rant for the year for those who have been done over by flipping women. I know you people don't really want to know my problems, but with Shane being the only person here who knows me I can be confident that none of you know who I am talking about as too many people already know the truth!

Basically, I am pretty ****ed off right about now and feel totally used! There is chick who I have known for ages as a friend and colleague, but I only really looked at in a different light recently, once I found out she was fully into me (haha, arrogant bastard!). Anyways, on one occasion after a little bit of the drink I fully had the opportunity to take her, but my morals got the better of me and I decided to play it safe and set myself up. I then went about confirming it with her best friend (another mate of mine) who told me that she was hell keen, but to get to know her well and be her friend as she is going through a rough patch. So me being the nice guy spent the entire week just playing it cool, but safe. There was lots of flirting going on by both parties and we were fully getting along like a house on fire.

Then on Saturday we were both at another mate’s house and she fully ignored me and hardly said boo (literally less than a dozen words for the entire night), well it didn't help that I got stuck in one corner talking about 4wd Mitsubishi’s, but still you get the picture. So here I am thinking this is a bit odd. But still continued to attempt to chat her up. Then she drove 3 of us into town (**** she can't drive for ****, can’t hold a constant speed on the motorway, frequently driving between 80-105 and not reading road signs). Town wasn't really going off and we were all tired, so we all began to make homeward bound plans and suddenly she pipes up to us 3“can you walk me back to somebody who we will call B's house? (who happens to be her ****n 20 year old ex-boyfriend who fully cheated on her with some 16 year old Asian slut). At this point I nearly flipping died and just walked off and the other 2 walked her there. On Sunday her best friend, (my mate) fully tells me that these too seem to be hooking up again (much to everyone’s disgrace!). I am now fully pissed off, feel used and confused! But to top the flipping thing off I am now getting all these flirtatious texts from her once I got home from work tonight!

Fully not trying to pull the sympathy card or anything. Just it’s very hard to express my feelings with anybody as my friends are her friends and too many people already know too much, and did I mention that she is a college so it kind of makes it awkward!

sounds to me like she doesn't know what she wants either...........

she likes you, and her mate has said you like her too......

then you play it Mr Nice n Cool by going slow which she probably isn't used to, sounds to me like she is used to being treated bad by this 20yr old....

so she gets all like "wtf?? does he like me? he acts like he does but then doesn't follow thru" so on the party night she disses you so that you come running after her......

is typical "younger" woman attitude (apologies to any that might get offended)

when you didn't snap to it and run straight to her, she went to where she thinks she can get good luvin' ie/ the ex! Now this was a bad move on her part and she knows it, so now she starts sending you text messages to make up for it.

Basically, you need to talk face to face.

The biggest single thing between a man and a woman is communication.
I know it gets said a lot and you probably sick of hearing it, but seriously, you need to spend days, weeks, months talking before anyone makes a decision.

She needs the opportunity to explain herself but because she feels so unsure about stuff at the moment she is waiting to feel wanted by you.

As soon as she gets a green light and you say you like her, she might open up.

My advice?
Send her an sms saying:
I like you a lot but I am confused about things like what happened Sat nite.

Then wait and see what she says.

Start talking to her on a different level rather than just flirting and saying "u r sexy"

i just finished school, and thats basically the same story i here every time one of our m8s hook up with another m8 (minus the ex bf part most of the time)...but stay away from getting the grove on with the best friend, i know easier said than done

What you got to remember is all women are screwed in the Head !!!
They are emotionally unstable and have so much baggage that comes with
them.. I am sure they say the same about us :) The other point I want to
make is the old love is blind one. I know I have gone out with chicks that
were so wrong for me it wasn't funny but do you think I could see it at all.
Nope I was just stuck on them, usually for sexual reasons. You wont be able
to talk this girl out of her ex boyfriend she will never listen she has to figure
that out for herself if she ever does. You on the other hand need to keep your
options open as there are so many other girls out there, not saying shag around
just keep your options open (And shag around)

I decided today that there is no point being a sour git about it and basically confronted her about it as if it turned nasty I am superior so can make life very uncomfortable. What do you know, there is has been a development since the weekend. It fully turns out that she told the ex-bf to **** off, but he can still try if he wants (WTF?) as she realised that he dosn't deserve her. Don't know when this all happened, but presumably that this explains the texts last night.

So we both know there is fully something there and she invited me round to her place (cha ching)! I can't be bothered ****ing around anymore with this, so intend to rapidly push the friendship and have a disscussion about the situation and verbally put the ball into her court. Mean while I will live life one day at a time.

Cheers, guys for all the comments and support, some real good advice there. All this mess, makes me want to go feck off and be some crusty old hermit <jokes>, but it would be much easier.

So to sum it all up, my week suddenly went from bad to good and hopefully my new MOMO wheel will arrive tomorrow as well :D

Thats close but still not as devastating as you feel. 1 day you have
a wife, child, mortgage and all the married bits and pieces and next
day you are living in a mates spare room with basically only your
clothes thinking what drugs you must have taken for a trip like that.

The prices of these baby's are extremely over inflated. So I have just picked up a simple but clean three spoke leather wrapped MOMO Corse wheel, yeah I get two horn buttons (so when some sum breaks in and steals the button I have a backup :D ). This will solve the problem of the factory bus like Lantis wheel (**** this wheel is massive and the horn is far to sensitive). Once I have sorted out my $700 cam belt job and a few other financial drains I should be able to onsell the wheel for rougly what I paid and upgrade to the MOMO Jet :D !
