ok so im up like at 7 in the morning bored as so thought this would be a good idea to what people get up to,coz eveybody does differant things, and surprisingly you never know who would be doing the same thing (like doing nothing or work).

so today im:

taking my daughter to the movies and go for a drive to st kilda n just bum around there for the day(its not extravigant but it beats staying home!)

yeah, that's the study I like, it's pretty mad doing Uni as well as all that mate, shift works the only way but hey, murder believe me!

I say why not get interested in a car you like. You can't just live to work, besides, it gives you some purpose to get you through the spare hrs! There's a time for work, a time for play (includes saucy stuff) but, there is always the time to take out, spanner in one hand, the other wrapped around a piece of rubber hose or something steel, tightening some nut on some part on your ride kinda gives you that, I own ya so, guess I gotta look after you hey? :D :D :D :D or perhaps its, IF ONLY I HAD THE DARN MONEY FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX YOU YOU LITTLE ****!!!!.....hehehehe NAR, we love workin on them sometimes (when time permits)

best time for me to play wit da car is when the wife aint around(always say"whacha doin?")most annoying question that a female can ask...especially when they dont know what a phillips screw driver is!

NaughtyGT
08-07-2009, 07:40 AM
hahahahaha true fresh true! my wife is full of it! She tells me she wants to learn about cars right. Do you think she once gets near the car when I'm working on it? Yeah, right! She doesn't annoy me though when I work on it, she's always tied up with her Guinea Pigs, we breed them, currently have 30 of the furriest beggers youv'e ever laid eyes on so, her heads always in the yard or pen & mine is under car or in car with either a phillips or spanner @ present. When we're not working that is! btw, got a dump pipe coming from QLD today & can't wait to wack it on & get rid of the old stocky pipe, yeeeeeah!

SO, today I try & work out what the hell reason for my amp not working prop. It's a huge Altec job just for now I picked up when I was getting parts few weeks back. I have to muck around with channels etc........give ya the ****s!

They only follow up repeat offenders or abusive callers.

u dont have to get to a operator, it doesnt work as it does in the movies mate, as soon as you establish a conection (ie even before the 1st ring) you can be pinpointed, and for most phones all you have to have is you phone turned on and it can be tracked. that sht in movies is just so they build suspence ;)

http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/xx201/NaughtylilGT/mages.jpg BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!! The new Tooheys 6.5 alc/vol with black label. Not bad! Actually, I'm going on a dry out for a while

Btw, Red Wine unclogs Arteries, FACT! Powerful anti-oxidant (can't remember the name off hand) that breaks up fats & keeps them sticking to arterial walls. Atherosclerosis is a common disease that causes plaques of fats/chemicals to build up on vessel walls & actually eats into intima (inner vessel layer) & causes arterial hardening (arteriosclerosis). This also leads to thrombosis (plaque breaks away & lodges in wall further up vessel). This is all a quick rundown from memory. Do a quick surf on subject, while you won't be able to access the medical literature (med journals) you still will get the gist!

Oh.....where were we?.......http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/xx201/NaughtylilGT/mages.jpg

well mate, I respect your belief but, religion aside, a little wine even Jesus endulged in, fact! ;) Here's a scripture......"I came drinking & eating & you call me a drunked & a gluten?" Quote by Jesus Christ! He also turned H2o into wine! Also, "It's not what goes into the mouth that makes a person unclean rather, it's what comes out of the mouth!" Wine was a sign of health & prosperity for the Jews too! Same reason Greeks, Italians, French (Mediteranian folk basically) drink red wine with meals. They eat all sorts of **** but due to the red wine, they stay healthy. Tomatoes are great too. Again, mediteranian staple diet. Btw, Beers full of Vit B, iron & all sorts of goodies! Just don't overindulge like an idiot! :(

Cheers!

didnt jesus drink grape juice, which is interperted as a wine these days :p well thats what i saw on a bible show on discovery..

That statement concerning the Pharisees where they call him a drunkard would be a bit silly if he drank grape juice wouldn't you say? It was customary for Jews to drink wine & relax after a days work. Check out Old Testament. They drank wine don't worry. Wine is extremely good for health reasons as well as enjoying social gatherings, again customary for different cultures

I studied 1st century culture heavily years back 70. Was quite interesting & you'd be surprised @ the mistranslation that goes on with todays scripture.

Besides, Jesus main focus in his teachings was love God & your neighbour. Bugger the details. These days I'm neutral anyway but I still try to give a crap about the other person. Even a smile goes a long way!

Look @ the Newspapers in Vic these days. Front pages full of out of control drug-wacked/alcohol fueled idiots with no respect for anyone. Groups bashing shat outta 1 or 2 guys is the norm now. Animal cruelty. Yesterdays paper had an narticle on a guy that shot his "favourite" dog 5 times with a nail gun cause it barked! It didn't die but screamed in pain so, he dragged it to the house & stabbed it in the neck. Still alive so he then bashed it with a sledge hammer! Whether Jesus is hear or not bud, cruelty reigns bigtime in Melbourne!!! Cops are ordered to go in groups of 3, not 2 now cause' streets are too dangerous! What about us. Where on our own, untrained & with no weapon. Stuff us ey? Where's it all going man?

yeah, i know that whole grape juice thing too. they called the wine we know spirits. so it talks about people getting drunk off spirits in the bible.

and the whole no eating/drinking certain foods is modern day revelation given by prophets. more specifically Joseph Smith (dum dum dum dum dum)

Yes, I haven't been that sick in quite some time but this hit me hard. Still feeling very tired and not quite used to being out of bed yet lol. I was enjoying the comfort of my duna in the middle of the day :o I'm glad you like my pic.. it reminded me of my cat as he always grins at me! I love cats.. big fan! lol.

I cannot stand animal cruelty or the people that do it. I personally think we should shoot that guy five times with a nail gun to see how he likes it.. I bet he'd scream in pain too. Then if someone felt the need, I'd let them stab him in the neck. I'm not a killer but that's what he is, so he deserves the same treatment. Low life.. they should be.. well.. I don't know.. something nasty lol.

Edit: Oh yeah and I'm working again. Feel pretty poo too!

Did anyone watch the old schoolers @ Surfers yesterday? Way cool  All the old original Bathurst winning cars back to the 60's with most of the legend drivers @ the helm.

What wasn't good :( Hooked up my amp outta naughty when I got home yesterday. Fuse blew. OK, check it out etc. Then, the ground wire sparked on the beaver panel bolts  The earth was live! So, in thew wheely bin & down to Autobarn to pick up a Kenwood 600watt 4 channel (nothing too frizzy) Only has to speak into MX5 cockpit (very, very smal environment). Nowhere to mount the Sub (need all boot space I can get.....already houses battery, spare tyre etc :() Surprisingly, there is enough room for groceries (deep boot)

I'll let you know how it sounds later today. I'm also friggin with splits (maybe) to get front sounding well enough as the rears are right behind your head in speaker boxes on the parcel shelf (don't want to cut into parcel shelf @ this stage)

They've been living in a dodgy make-ship home for last 12 months hehe. Worked well but need to build a walk-in style set up to make it easier for wifey to change all their beds.

Amazing how much time gets taken up on the cars & everything else gets neglected. I've managed to keep the front yard looking shmick & will be converting some long- run garden beds (bugger-al in them @ moment) into vege gardens for next spring. Mmmmmm home-grown tomies & cues again! ;)

Also, the other day I managed to clear out the garden shed so I can dump (neatly of course ) all the annoying stuff cluttering up main garage. Hospital? I thought you said he wasn't hurt that bad?

He must have a Holden badge imprinted on him now. :p

He is fine, cuts & bruises all over, and swollen ankles, VERY LUCKY considering he was flung from the Ute via the rear window

So the story goes:
B-double was tailgating, and dan was slowing to do a Uturn at an intersection, the Semi only saw this at the last second, which shunted him through the intersection and onto the Brisbane bound Lanes of the Warrego, where the car shut down...

The semi going brisbane bound saw dan at the last moment, and had a choice of t-boning him or trying to swerve, in which he swerved, hit dan on the A pillar, making him spin, hit the rear of the ute, and then speared dan out the back window... the truck full of meat from Toowoomba ended up rolling over 40m down the road.

This is basically what it looked like at 10am this morning:

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm43/marcs_sp20/IMG_2684.jpg

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm43/marcs_sp20/IMG_2693.jpg

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm43/marcs_sp20/IMG_2695.jpg

Total amount of damage, incl cost of removing the trucks load - $2.3mil

So yeah, he is very lucky to be alive - I think the whole family only got a couple hours of sleep...

And yes the Ute was Insured, my brother is now on the hunt for a Monaro

You're telling me! I was first to see him at the hospital (as the oldies were down the coast on holidays), and honestly didnt know what to expect... He does however what will be 2 black eyes, swollen nose & ankles, and just cuts from the tarmac & grass from the side of the highway...

He's doing ok, now relaxing at the coast with the oldies, would you believe that the hospital only gave him 2 days off!!! Anyways he went to his GP and he gave them the whole week off ;)

HOLY CRAP man that is effed up :( im suprised the bag didnt go off seing how ther is not much left to the front bumper.. damn hes one lucky man to be walking out of that alive, in good shape. that trip to hospital must have sucked marc :( i hate trucks, i know they are essential to everyday life but i hate being next to a tire that is above my head driving down the highway..

Man that is one messed up car. Luckily he is all good and resting now. Bit weird that the air bags never went off after seeing that impact. Hope he gets better soon.

today im studying but last night i found out what car i will get next (in a couple of years) either a FR-S(Gsport) or 216A since they are both the same thing under a different brand, all comes down to which one gets released 1st :) i have not felt about a car like this since i 1st layed eyes on a BA :p

17-06-2010, 09:17 PM
I like the FT86 front better tho with that wide mouth on the front breathing in and RWD but with the motor of the 216A. This article shows the difference between the two.

yeah but the subi is apparently a year behind the toyota for release dates or something. and the toyota has the G-Sport version thats a 2L H4 turboed :D
i want that one hehe
toyota one looks beter than the subi in my opinion, not a fan of scoops
oh and that photo is a photoshop im pretty sure :p

oh and the rumors regarding awd are false as well. they will both be a FR on a modified impreza platform.
toyota just patented the name FR-S in canada and america for a motor vehicle. looks like that will be the new name. just hoping that they wont mark it up rediculusly, seeing as tho the 370z is 35K USD in america, and the WRX is 30K USD in america, yet they are 70 and 60 here respectively. this is supposed to be released with a 23K USD pricetag so it should translate to around 40K aud with the markups folowing the same/simmilar margins as that of subi/nissan just dont understand wy the markup is needed at all.. but 40K for that car, id pay for it. id even pay 50 for the sports version if it ever comes out :D

RustyKaos
17-06-2010, 10:09 PM
I did read somewhere and it also states "confirmed" in that link I posted that the subi will be AWD. Still it is a very hot car and I have been waiting on this to finally come out

18-06-2010, 10:02 AM
yeah but that article is 8 months old. if u look on that same sight there is another article regarding the 216A
ie here (the dates are newer) (http://www.7tune.com/no-awd-for-subarus-ft-86-clone/) i came across that site in FT86 forums, and apparently its like carmate is to us, can be reliable but most part its not :p
all i know is they better not change the overall shape 2 much, and the interior as well. i know the interior will have to be changed somewhat, but i hope not drastically :)

are u more interested in the subi or the toyota version? (assuming both are the top sports spec turbo whatever)

this is what i want :D :D :D (http://www.7tune.com/scoop-gs-turbocharged-ft86/)
and if it stays under 50~55, which it should considering that the expected release price is around 23K for the base and 26K ish for the top (USD but so with markup we get stuck with etc..) i will be gettin one defiantely. well worth the money :)

Toyota all the way. I find the subi styling is not to my taste. Also like that it is based on the AE86 which is a really awesome car. :D

70NYD
18-06-2010, 10:58 AM
I KNOW and the subi engine gives it the very low centre of gravity :D i hope they stick some LEDs in the taillights or i will have to :p (thats the 1st thing my mum made fun of when i showed her the car... WHAT WILL U CHANGE ON THIS ONE???)

70NYD
18-06-2010, 12:57 PM
thats the dubbed"baby" version thats like a foot or so shorter. only one photo of it and its a green/gold one. was prob a rumor as it dont make sense to release the smaller one as well, as the frs is allready tiny and hardly a 4 seater

18-06-2010, 01:30 PM
but thats why im excited, from a interview with one of the cheif designers, it seems that he is in love with the car and does not want to change much bar things that need to meet legislations such as pedestrian impact (rumor has it that the hood line will be raised about 50mm or so which isnt to bad :)) and if you look at lexus LFA, its design only got better since the concept stage :) it does cost like 300K but LOL it comes with a V10 or something.. not really in to lexus but.
but il wait and c and bide my time, and collect money :)

Not sure if things have changed in the past few years (or things are different between uni's) but its not quite that easy.

My girlfriend didn't get the OP she wanted to get into her course. She went overseas for two years and worked. When she came back, she applied for Uni without an OP. But she had to write a strong letter as to why she should be accepted and had to get some references.

I'm at work today too :(

Was supposed to be flying to Gold Coast.
Weather was feral, so on first landing attempt had to do an emergency touch and go.
Scariest thing I've ever been in, the relaxing feeling of the back wheels touching down and then hearing the engines get pushed to full throttle And getting slammed back into your seat.
Second landing attempt didn't even touch the ground before doing an emergency go around, again slammed into seat and all we hear from the PA is
"we are being diverted to our alternate airport as we are too low on fuel to attempt to land without clear skies. "
Righto, fly to Brisbane, whether also shocking. Managed to get the thing on the ground but, not without a lot of turbulence and what I can only imagine was wind shear at the last second.

They refused to fly us to the gold coast cause Of weather and gave us food vouchers for $6, which expired in October. :/
Was told a bus would take us there but wouldn be there for 2 hours. :/

Currently sitting on a bus listening to the turbo and trying to relax for once I get to coolangstta airport I then have to drive to ballina, :/

Probably not gunna make it to my destination before Christmas Day. :/

All I can say is bah humbug.

It takes about an hour and a half to get from Coolingatta to Ballina so you should be able to make it tonight without any problems.

hope the rest of your holiday is better.
