Maby a kit but not for a while.
and a bucket seat is on its way. (hopefully comes today)

what's with the big pipe on the engine breather?

question about the engine breather, is that instead of the pipe that normally goes back into the intake piping? if so, what is the benefit of this? if there is one

no benefit. it is illegal. just there because the new intake system doesn't have the provision for breather pipe.

i'm just curious as to why it isn't just bolted straight to the rocker cover. why the blue piping?

The engine breather needs to go into a catch can to make it legal . Better for engine doesnt pump 'blow-by' back into the intake manifold

wasnet actully my idear. a mate did it while i was painting my calipars today.
Not even sure what pipein that is. He thought it was quite humerous.
Didnt know it was illigal. Maby i should keep that pipe and run it down the bottom so its not notible to cops.

just bolt it to the rocker cover as ryan has said, would be a lot less painfull then running the piping anywhere else (and hoping it doesnt hit something its not suppose to)...

the car is taking shape I must admit, needs a front bumper though :p

Just finsihed installing a JVC sub with a alpine amp.
Also cleaned up my engine bay put all the wires together.
make it a bit neater

Is the carbon-fibre lokking thingy an in-line air filter?

Also, can you give me the size of the blue hose coming from the valve cover (usually goes into the intake piping)? Also, what is the part number of the little K&N filter that you have thrown onto the end of the pipe?

The blue hose, im not sure what the size is. its just air compressor hose.
I used it as a spacer for the breather.
That breather isnt KnN its just a Elcheapo from supacheap $12.

Well got an exhaust done today, Ordred the tip from X racing NZ.
I know a few ppl dont like cannons but i personly like em if they are tucked away (jap look.). Got muffler mart at rocklea to do it for me.
Sounds good. Looks HEAPS better then the stock pee shooter.
Its got the scilencer in it ATM, but will take it out when it cools down !!!.

It would be fairly loud wouldn't it, I have a much bigger cannon on my car and its got a horrid drone. But i do have a 4" tip with no silencer in there atm.
I can't wait to get rid of it. Just got to find the right replacement, i only want to hear i when you get up it. Not all the time.

Looks like a really tidy exhaust ;)

One thing I do suggest, is that you spray paint the insides of the cannon black (well really the silencer) so it doesnt look out of place. Nothing looks more tackier then a big muff and a silencer blocking it up and looking out of place...

The rear wheel was actully rubbing out on the guy who car i bought them from. So its just that wheel thats getting replaced this week.

well i picked up that front bar from marc on thursday and spent a few hours just preping it readdy to be painted this morning.

Fitted it up about midday. took a bit of mucking around.

anyway its not finished still need to install the mesh and get some spotties to fill in the gaps..

side skirts are on there way.

its deffnitly not race spec, and being orange i dont think it would be JDM if anything it would be more USDM considering im most likely going to use the msp orange that was only used in america.

as for wheels im just going to use my black 17"s. Iv still got them just not on the car atm.

Just got the car back from our pannel beater and decided to get some primer on it.

The rear wheel arches have been pushed out. The right front fender was re positioned (due to a pervious accident), evey trolly dint has been strighted out and the rear holes have been tack welded and filed back.
Even pannel is stright as a dime now.

it come down to the spicy orange V XR5 ornage or the lamborgini orange.

the spicy has alot of character, its like 3 or 4 different looks depending on sunlight and angle.

hey im thinking of spraying my bonnet black in the centre do u think i should spray the area u did or only the lower centre part and not the sides where the bonnet raises up ? hope you understand what im talking about haha

at the end of the day when u step back and look its not going to make a hugh amount of differencs.

i would reccoment doing what iv done as its the same line as where the grill starts, otherwise the grills wider then where the black meets the grill.

The yellow overlays dont quite do it for me, now if they were smoke & the headlights were painted black it'd be a different story ;)

i think you need something in the lower grille spot only cause i hate looking at tabs without anything covering them up...or maybe paint them black and see if that hides it...i like the function of the grilles though as they stop bags sticking on your radiator and **** so you dont over heat ;)

yer, i took out the stock grill from down the bottom. iv got mesh for it just need to paint it black.
I like the yellow foggies, as for the black headlights, that will happen 1 day this century.

Well after mucking around with heat proof enamal spray paint for my rocket cover I decided to invest in some 2pak heat proof paint. so did a bit of work this afternoon.

Well i finaly got around to mucking around with some headlights. (did a quick trial that turned into a whole afternoon)
Pulled them apart (alot easier them i thought)

Hardest bit was putting them all back together.
After painting the surround black, i then decided to use some window tint to tint the indicators and then add my own little touch before installing them.

na it seems the same, didnt changed the colour of the light or direction.
