Well I had a great day.

We've had some good ones, but I think this was number 1 for me.

Some interesting roads, some new people taking part other than the usual suspects. Good to see you guys for sure!! 22 people altogether I think.

The "SP20 chapter" was especially well represented with 7 cars plus one "Honorary SP20" :)

Considering I have been the only SP20 at a number of events, this was BLOODY BRILLIANT!!!!

Photographers please post up real soon!!

Felt horrible for ABC as did we all, with a "fail to proceed" and having to get the car trailer thing happening so far from home. Best of luck with it mate.

And TDK too whose car is still having remedial work done on the turbo. Wrotten turn of events.

Great Day. I enjoyed it.

A huge Thank You to Critter for letting me ride with him for the day. A big thumbs up to the interior, stereo and suspension its fantastic.

Good to meet some of you astina people at long last and put faces to names.

i wish to advise all that attended this cruise that i was very impressed with ur cars an the way u guys look after them , with so many sp20's there its a wonder i didn't crash considering my eyes were looking back all the time at the show behind awsome sight i must say

big thanks to the canberra guys for meeting us at ulladulla was great to meet u guys /girls , abc my heart was torn hearing the news at ulladulla of your break down an could not be fixed sorry man but there will be others an we will have you there in high spirits , least we had a meal an a bit off a laugh together poeples

I am sooooo jealous. It looks like you guys had an excellent time; I really wish I could have made it. I dropped my car off down at Street Dreams on Friday afternoon to get the new Haltech E6X computer installed. Doug and Pete have been great in helping me. I'll get the car back on Monday arvo or Tuesday midday. We have to organise another cruise soon so I can come and join in the mayhem.

Well we went back to his car and swapped the dizzy's over and it started first time. So we drove back to canberra pulled my dizzy out and TwoJays and ABC went back down put the dizzy in his car and drove his car home. I dont know if he arrived home yet. Still yet to get my dizzy back... :|

Well I'm alive! and the ABC mobile is back in the driveway but it'll be not moving for a day or two.

Dizzy is fubar and have sent it away and am awaiting it either returning fixed or a replacement unit. Estimated cost - "near enough to $500" :x (Mazda quoted me $960 for a new one :shock: )

On the up-side, I had a nice quick ride back from the coast :D

After the 5 hours getting from Ulladulla to Canberra to take Tony's distributor out and then back again, I finally got back in the drivers seat and made it from Ulladulla to Canberra in 1:38 with a 4 minute stop in Bungendore waiting at a train crossing. :mrgreen:

Even so, it was great to see all the cars - even though mine stopped about 2km away from the meeting point - and meet all the people.

It was really great how everybody immediately started to think of ways out of the problem and how they could help.

Thanks to Doug and Pete for coming to have a look at it.
Thanks to Tony for letting me borrow his Dizzy for the drive back.
Thanks to Kitty and Aaron for moral support.
Extra special thanks to JJ and Bek for driving another 5 hours to the coast and back - and lending me his car this week while he's away so I can get mine fixed.

Not too many photos because I was a little preoccupied with my car sitting on the side of the road. Some good ones in there though.

Been too concerned about getting the car fixed - which I picked up yesterday all running fine.

Distributor had crapped out and you can only buy the full unit as a replacement, ie metal housing, coil, cam gear etc. Two reconditioned units ran the car but when throttle was pushed open the engine didn't fire on any cylinders.

Sparky managed to track down just a genuine coil and put that together with some of my distributor and some of the new ones and the car runs again!

So after an air-con regas and all the distributor woes, its fixed for a measly $650 :roll:

At least it runs and I can now show off my sexy AstinaGT.com sticker! 8)
