talk about marketing hype @ it's finest :eek:

brousing the frozen chip section of fridge @ supermarket (no identity needed), "97%" fat free on the Birdseye chip pack right? Well, if you read ingredients of other Birdseye frozen chip packets, or any frozen chip pack really for that matter, guess what you'll find? "96%" potato! :eek: hehe

So, if its 96-97% potato, how much fat can you add, taking into account seasoning, salt, spices etc? Do the sums! :cool:

fat free! still, even if it was less fat, still negligable. Not enough to warrant extra $$ they're asking :(

Frozen meals are too expensive to buy so I just make my own chips.. alot easier and bloody cheaper! At least I know mine is 100% potato and maybe a little badness goes into with the oil :p I tend to use the healthier options with those though.
