I just noticed that the most users that we have ever had online is 12. Lets all get together on a nominated night to try and break that record. We have over 400 registered members, I think it's pathetic that we have only had 12 members at once online.
Who's with me!!!!!!!!!

We can't do it on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. So i will make up a poll to find out which night is prefered. Also, i want to thank Cosmo Dude for nominating the name; VIRTUAL CRUISE.

What time tho on the Monday night.
I am going on a Hawkesbury River Xmas cruise on Monday night 15th, won't be back till after 10pm......
im free for any of those dates
lets see how many ppl we can get into irc at that time too. that way we can at least talk a bit easier !!

True, in fact that will work perfectly as I have work Monday night.
Does everyone prefer making it a late time, like 11pm. I'm not home on Monday night, but i can leave the site connected all day.

But why are we doing this just for a number?
We should all get online and actually chat, not just turn on the pc and walk away!!!
Especially as some of us have all met already, it would be a good way to stay in touch, and it is also a good way for us to meet up with those we can't get together on cruises with (our NZ buddies!).
Personally I won't be logging on to walk away.... I will log on to talk to ya's!
That said, I can't do Monday or Tuesay, and Wednesday I will be packing before leaving for Melbourne on Thursday...... so they are all pretty bad for me.....
Why not do Monday but EARLIER... not 11pm.
Everyone eat dinner on Monday night in front of the pc and log on at 6pm?
At least we can type one handed and not get accused of talking with our mouths full, LOL!!!

u can't just leave ur comp running with the site opened, u need to be actively browsing the forum.

How about this for an idea.....
*deep breath*
Why not log on at 6pm and then again at 8pm everynight you can, and we will see who it on.....
That way the people that can make Sunday will talk to others that can make Sunday, and the people that can make Monday will talk to others that can make Monday etc etc
Why limit it to one night?
Some people can't do 6pm and can do 8pm whereas other people can't do 8pm but can do 6pm.....
It loosens it up a bit and makes it a bit more flexible....
But the Virtual Cruise can make a night of the week commencing in the New Year when everyone is back at work and we can work out a "regular virtual meet"
But as for before Xmas, I think everyone is waaaaaaay too busy... well speaking for myself, I know I am very busy!!!
Coz.... in 1 WEEK I WILL BE IN MELBOURNE!!!!
