Ok..i know this can be done but i want to know how to do it. I want to set up some kind of switch or something so that i can make my popup lights wink...If u dont know what i mean...i want to be able to just make 1 go up or down at a time. I know this can definately be done because i found a site on the net and a dude has it hooked up to a remote so he scares people with it...If anyone can help or if anyone knows a site that explains it i would be very greatful...Thanks alot!!!!! ;) lol

i imagine the motors for the lights are hooked onto the headlight circuit via a relay to tell them to go up and down. if u bypass this with another 2 relays or just switches you should be able to get manual control of the lights.

sorry, but i dont know where this relay would be in the car

In the Cosmo and Rx-7 the relay is in the motor assembly. They both share the same coloured wiring :) There is a red wire with a green trace, if you were to cut this wire and connect it to a relay so that normaly the original curcuit is complete but when triggered the circuit is broken and the wire to the assembly has +ve from the battery you should have the light wink when the relay is triggered.

I cant guarentee the BG wiring is the same colour but good luck.

Or you can just wait until the whole thing craps itself and it will wink automatically.. I had a mate who had a series 2 [or 3] RX7 and they would just do it by themselves..

Heh..

I've had enough issues with the Cosmo pop-ups I have been thinking of going the 4D look.

No more winkies or blinkies, can also flash the lights if I want without putting them up first.

LOL, mine used to do exactly that (i didnt mean them to though) when I would click them down, the right one would actually blink a couple of times. For some reason it has stopped never to return :(

if you hit the button in the centre console quick enough you can make it wink. depends on individual car though

yeah ive looked at this too, it looks kind of tight. but i think once u undo the air box and remove the resonator underneath then it becomes a bit more roomy. but the problem is where the fuk do u run it too (ie the opening). i mean there isnt much room down there to run it to the front bar. so where does it go?? any others done it on the BG??

i made a sleepy eye kit 4 my BG and i got it off this site, i control it with a 3 way toggle that makes the lights look sleepy, it's pretty easy to do and it didnt take all that long to do. i love it!!

there is a simple way to make ur lights only half pop up without any instalation or bits, thats wat u want isnt it? in the fuse box there are a couple of fuses there is a green one with a thirty on it take it out and turn ur lights on ur lights should turn on but not pop up, just touch the fuse back in quickly till in the desired spot. i worked it out as i was going through the cars wiring loom, works a treat:D :D
