Well doesn't that suck. I'm on a plan so I don't have that issue. Go to a shop who you are with and generally they can help you out straight away with a replacenment.

As for phones, they really grind my gears. I am so over having a phone that dies on me... GRRRRR :(

I checked their website and it stated that because i'm prepaid i must pay for a $25 recharge before they will issue me with a new simcard, i beat the system i think, i ordered a free simcard from their website so i just gotta wait till that arrives

Very uncommon that a SIM card will die. Something may be wrong with your phone. If the new SIM card dies again, I'd get the phone to a repair shop.

I've had the same number from analogue and had several SIM cards. Yep I'm showing my age

My phone used to go white alot too and I'd turn it back on and it would take about 10 mins to turn itself back on and it would be fine for about halfa and do it again so I cracked the s**ts and bought a new phone.

I have the Nokia E66 slide, that is the one before the E71. Work colleagues have those as their work phones and they seem ok if you like having a quirky keyboard on your phone.

iPhone's don't appeal to me because I have nails and touch screens are difficult with those.. they are alright phones but I have had a friend that has gone through 7 of them so if you're prone to dropping OR laying on your phone (lol) you may want to reconsider that one! :p

Haha well, i've kinda fixed the phone its got a few lines through the screen but yeah its usable for the time being.

Also do anyone need optus prepaid sim cards? i ordered one to replace mine and i ended up getting 3, so i have 2 spare sim cards i don't need

Thanks for the offer but I have two of my own lol. One pre paid, one plan. Plus three vodafone ones lying around somewhere but they'll have been cancelled now.

At least you have your sim card now :)
