More of a question for people who have been through this before, or people who just know what they're talking about.
I've recently acquired a set of king springs to suit my car (1993 BG 323 Sedan).
Before installing them, i'd like to know if any problems are going to arise due to having different wheels.
Now i'm not sure on the width of the rims themselves, but they are 15" and the tyres i have on them now are 195's. The springs are rumoured to lower the car "30-35mm".
Would this scrub after fitting these springs?
I've inspected the gap i have so far, and under a full car of people, the tyres scrub slightly on the suspension, but not enough to worry about.
Naturally with lowered springs, i would try not to have a full car load of people.

its something that you will have to inspect when you install them. my suggestion would be to have a set of stock rims (rear or front, whatever scrubs) borrowed from someone so that you can drive it to a wheel shop.
get the guards rolled, its not expensive, or you can attempt it yourself depending on the physical state of your car.

OH ... i just read your post properly, it scrubs on the suspension? you chose the wrong offset for your wheels then? 15 inch rims should be fairly easy to have without scrubbing unless its a really bad offset.

rims under 205 wont scrub...im pretty sure 205 with rolled guards dont but then 215 just clears from memory with rollled guards...

+1 to what chrisw said - you've got the wrong offset on your wheels. A 195 tyre suggests a 6 inch rim, and your offset should be a +40 or so - but sounds like it's a +50

Those rims I bought for my car got test fitted with some dead rubber we found. they were 17x7's with +45 offset
they didn't scrub anywhere but were DAMN close to the suspension. still not touching, but if the tyres deformed sideways they would rub.
edit: im not sure about my guards though because I have firm suspension thats not far from stock at the rear, so it comes close to the guards but never really gets that far down. I suppose if there was 3 big fellas and some gym weights in the boot I might have abit of an issue. but that issue might not be with my guards.

if its scrubing on the suspension get a set of spacers ;)
if it then rubs on the guard roll it ;)

Hehe, I was afraid of spacers, but if my car passed rego, I would have installed the wheels and put spacers on the car.
for safety sakes for scotty though. How much do you love your 15's ? it might be beneficial to buy more appropriate 15's so you dont have to use spacers. unless they are brand new, then consider spacers, just be safe.

well i got em for free, and they suit the car quite well, and they have 95% tread, so yeh, love em to bits XD
was always going to put spacers on just for the tough look, but now i have an excuse :P

Just so you know kinda what i'm dealing with here, and why i'd like to keep the wheels. Really want to go "bleeding panda" on this mofo, everything below the door strips + bumpers to be black.

really odd, they look quite far out already. there must be something funky with the offset, unless you got tyres so fat that they bulge out.
