if its the one of ebay, please dont waste your money.. you will end up spending more power on the electricity neded to run that inefficient piece of sht.. jsut looking at the photoes you can see the gaps between the wall and blades, useless. serius save your money for something wiser ;)

ah yes, but i have already planned to caulk it all up myself and ^ the voltage or replace motor in the fan ;)
just a little experiment for the time being.
thank you for your concern though

well if you want to lower the clearances, a little bit of shaped balsa will do the trick just fine, get it as thin as you can so the blades just miss, then epoxy in place. ofcourse you will have to cut the balsa to the width of the housing (by having a circle with a hole in the middle sort of thing)

oh yeah.. servied today and according to stock specs my brake pads were too small in the back so got some from supershoit, went for ferodo's as opposed to double priced dba's

okay, also, mechanics who serviced my vehicle did a quick roadworthy check..
apparently, a dilemma is "airbox not secured" i can see where bolts are supposed to be to mount it, but haven't got the darndest how or where and how it can be mounted.
has someone taken a "box" off or something?
the intake is very much loose and i can imagine it shaking around whilst i'm driving.
i can't understand, cause all the other pics i've seen on here is just the silver resonators

lol at 6 hour bump.
Maybe build a bracket and secure it to the chassis or something? Don't know.

sounds like alot of money and effort for NO gain in power! these things are an epic fail and look pretty useless!
U might aswell save the money and spend it on mods that actually do something to aid the engine.
my 2c..

Since the stock airbox has been removed, the mountng points for it have no relevance to the pod filter. I used a left over bracket from a Simota CAI to secure my pod filter in the Laser. Dam, you could even just zip-tie down your pod filter since it's leaning on the ledge down to the wheel well. Have a look and get creative, like MacGuyver. :p

I like the darkened tail lights, they should the colour of the car.
Rims are good too, not over the top.

okay, been a while since I've updated this.
single horn from a 70's or so subaru 4wd wagon (lol) has been mounted and is working, not too loud, just perfect.
applied astinagt.com decal on top of back window, little bit off center but looks awesome!
strapped the afm to the chassis where the bolts are already protruding. hopefully this will pass the rwc!
rocker gasket is leaking but a lot of cars can do that for many years before it presents itself a problem, so before inspection for now I'm just going to give it all a wipe with a rag.
still haven't got the rwc as these few little things needed to be done.
also fixed the windscreen water squirters as they were no longer mounted and went all over the place, toughened them up with some little rubber gaskets I had lying around.
all in all its been a decent few weeks.
wish me luck in the inspection!
next is the catback! ;)

Oh and it's been a few weeks since new front shocks and bumpstops were put in, got springs in back done too. Now on rear bumpstops, my bad! Guessing the rear shocks will follow soon.
