Hello
I own a 2003 Mazda Astina and wish to fit clear side indicators. If anyone can point me in the right direction as to what will fit and what is needed and required to fit them it would be much appreciated.
Thank you Tristan!

Does anyone know if you can get orange globes for the side indicators? The standard white ones aren't very visible through the clear side indicators during the day.

yes, thats what you have to do. You should be able to pick up some orange globes from pretty much any auto store

The hole in the front guard on the SP20 is larger than a VT so is more than a lose fit.....

You could make up a kind of connecting fitting to adapt it I guess, fibreglass, whatever.
A whole chunk of blutak mebbe......:)

or "trade" them on the real deal......

The orange bulbs are like $2 at Auto One.

yeah didn't think it would fit right. If only santa consulted me first!! I'll swap them for the universals at autobarn. Hey OT but Autobarn now stock altezza lights for the BJ Astina. $400 - didn't think that was too bad a price - anyone know if its an ok $$$?

Santa needed to consult US first :)

There's a place in Sydney city that does them for $350 I think.

They have a website, they were at Final Battle.

Just gotta remember who they were....mebbe odd12c knows.

That's the one!

They might have been cheaper @ FB.......

Altezza's are basically the rice option, so of course there would be azns runing it LOL

personally I like rice....in moderation......a bit is all good.

I used VT Commodore ones. I made a backing plate out of
steel and glued it inside the guard and has worked fine for 6 years
now. And I got the orange bulbs from holden same time I fot the
indicators but as said before everywhere has them.

Regards

Mal

which basically means they havent been complied with the ADRs (australian design rules). it's more than likely they could, but the importer/manufacturer didnt bother having them complied as it all costs
