nope, wouldn't let the last one...but that was coz she couldn't drive manual. and i wanted to keep my gearbox in one piece...even tho i ended up getting rid of it anyway so it wouldn't have mattered :;):
otherwise maybe..but i'd have to turn the boost riiiiiiiight down :D[/color:post_uid0]

Seeing I am enjoying the single life cant vote but I have
let a couple of the girls from work drive my car and don't
have a problem letting others drive it. It is a car after all.
Those that have driven it do freak a little after the first application of the right foot but its like driving any body
elses car after 10 mins you can drive it like you own it.

No chance in hell, Thats why they made a passenger seat !!!![/color:post_uid0]
yeh I would if she could and I trusted her driving.
I've let others have a go. Usually they drive really carefully coz they're scared to **** up.
No-one that i think would drive fast or aggressively in traffic gets to tho :;):
One time i let 'a guy' drive my car and it came back with metal sticking out of the tyre. Not his fault tho :p
I think it's still in there. These were the old wheels.

yeah! see the words NOT MY FAULT :p[/color:post_uid0]
i called my mazda (before it was turbocharged) a slut, because everyone had a go in it.
i think my gf only driven the mazda twice, once before and once after the engine conversion.
she loved the mr2 and she loved loved the tt.
she got yelled " hey this is not your mr2, what you doing in it?" once in the mr2 when i was at the shops and she was in the driver's seat, parked at no standing zone.
i dont mind her to drive my cars, but it is a bit embrassing when im sitting on the passenger seat and she is driving.
sometimes i get funny looks from other people.... if you know what i mean.[/color:post_uid0]

Hey Eric, can we have another choice named "Depends how good her driving skills are... and how cute/pretty she looks" ?
:p
Have never let any girls drive my astina apart from my sister, who drives it quite often, but her driving is quite good (after my friends decided to teach her how to drive "race style" and the art of "gearing down" :D). Funny that when she drives it, people, mostly guys take notice of the car and seemed impressed that a girl drives a modded up astina. However, whenever I drive it nobody takes notice... some even told me it's a girls car :O
Actually there was one girl that really wanted to drive my astina... told her NO WAY!... after I saw her driving skills :O
Hmmm... come to think of it, there's this girl that I was going to let drive my car, she drive a Pugueot 206 and her driving skills pretty good. Haven't talked to her for a few month now... think she's left Melbourne or will be going soon... DAMN exams!! ... and she was really cute and pretty too and knows how to drive pretty good! :;):[/color:post_uid0]

Selective with who drives it. My g/f did once, and will only that once unless she learns manual on another car! Ive never realised you can make a car jump without anything to launch it. She managed to get huge vertical movement by just attempting to drive. :([/color:post_uid8]

I let Leanne drive my car, she's on my insurance too... she rarely drives it though coz she's worried if ever she stacks it :p
When she does drive it, she takes it easy...I have to tell her to give it a hit otherwise she doesnt lol :;):

only had one gf that could drive, and even then not so well let her drive my car once, cause she'd totalled hers and i was interstate
only time ever in history.
most recent ex begged to drive my car, but under no circumstances was i going to let a female learner drive my ride:)[/color:post_uid0]
I put Nic on my insurance and it lowered the price - doesn't mean she drives it though. I let her - only when I am somewhat incapacitated to drive.[/color:post_uid0]

I let my man drive my car.... and he lets me drive his GT Turbo Starlet!!
(He had no choice when I was the only one with a license) I guess that makes me the safer driver!! ha ha ha ha
He's good, but takes more risks than me!

My better half drives the Astina more than me. I ride to work every day, and it's the family car, so she drives it the most. I really only drive on weekends!!
**Edit** Talk about dragging up an old thread, who finds threads that are this old? I didn't even think they were kept for that long!!!

most the chicks i know race cars, of course i would let them drive mine, they do have faster reflexes and less hot under the collar so they can pull off some mean corners.

^ you must know some awesome chicks
the ones i know have many scratches on their cars. very short attention spans and very poor reflexes, hence my decision to not let anyone drive my car :D

i've given my gf manual lessons in my car.
the way i look at it is some day she may need to drive a manual in an emergency, i'd rather she had some experience than none at all.
however, on a day-to-day basis, not going to happen

No. Only for 3 people it's allowed to drive my cars. 2 of them are my best friends and the other one is myself. :)

Both mine (SP20) and Trents Car ( N15sssTurbo) are Each others car. We take whatever car has the most petrol, and whoever can be bothered to drive drives!! So Yea we both drive each others car, no big fuss!

Yeah i let Lauren drive my car on some of the cruises (haha bet you're gonna steer clear of me now), but shes too worried to take the corners like you other speed racers :D
Just added her to my insurance anyways, was interesting to see it didn't cost anything extra, and she has a smaller excess... Wouldn't help my loss of license last year.
*omg this thread died like 9 hours ago, how dare i :P
My gf drives my car more than i do as i have a work ute so i only get to use it on weekends... lives at her house and she drives it to work everyday

my gf doesn't drive... yet. But I'm planning on giving her my astina when I move up the food chain, aka, get my full license, and $$$
all you people are so sharing... my "partner",doesn't even let me drive my own car... (u no the one i put petrol in, the one i pay insurance for, and am still paying it off every week) even if i ask it ends in argument its crap! then if i do get to drive i get whinged at the whole way because every bloody little thing i do is wrong. where do all you people get these great partners from i want in or at least need help training my own. gah!

Thankfully, her brother turned up with her own car! My baby is safe..

Wouldn't yet, 'cos she's only on her Ls and has had maybe 3 hours of driving practice... But I'm with Pettos, when I move up the food chain I'd gladly see the car in familiar hands.

I have no problems with Christine driving my car, she has been driving a lot longer than me (I passed my test when I was 38, but been riding bikes since I was 17)
Nup, it's got named insurance, and no males under 25 are supposed to drive it..
Skill-wise, I have no issues at all.
