I just picked up a 1994 BA Astina in grey. I'm a US expat living in Wollongong, NSW and have loved the look of these cars since I saw one during my first visit to Australia. I also told myself that I wouldn't buy any cars that were available in the US ;-)

The car is completely stock, which is how I like it! Gathering parts and getting all the little kinks worked out. As for mods, I'll probably take it easy with those as I came here to go to Uni and am going to be living the starving student life for the next several years.

Wish list:
Gunmetal wheels
New springs (30-35mm lower or so)
Nice stereo
HID's (4300k, 55w)
catback
induction system

The driver's seat needs to be replaced as well. The fabric and foam is torn at the bolster.

Anyway, since it's stock right now, I'll just post one boring pic of it ;-)

Nice stock, BA, you dont see many grey ones around these days) Sounds like it will look exactly like my car used to a few years ago... (click for bigger picture)

I saw your car in my browsing of this forum. Yeah, that's what I want!

even have my drivers seat broken (i just welded up the rail - just started looking for seats like u)

The only damage to my seat is to the upholstery, thankfully. Sounds like I should keep the rails when I do replace it, just in case though.

sweet, glad u liked it. with the seat, im sure it would be pretty easy to track a replacement one down.

try formaz at smithfield or mazford at auburn in Sydney, they usually have a pretty good stock of parts like that
