G'day, after reading various stuff online/forums emails etc & not knowing half of what I was reading I finally looked up this site, it seems to list more abbreviated/acronyms than anyone would ever need, & I thought it might be useful:
http://www.netlingo.com/acronyms.php
Warning though there's a listing for just about every insult/rude word invented too.

Another good one is urban dictionary which includes more than just acronyms.

You're fighting a losing battle there. Grammar, sentence structure and spelling are becoming a forgotten art these days. :(

One thing that really bugs me is that these days nobody seems to know the difference between the words 'brought' and 'bought'. Everyone has said 'I brought a new car' or 'I brought something off ebay' - no you didn't, you bought it! It's all over this forum, as well as many others.
Remember:
Buy, buying, bought.
Bring, bringing, brought.

i get what mussing is saying that really grinds me too
i think people need to "brought" english back into school... :P
the other one that gets me is people using the wrong "there, their, they're"
:/
