[color=#000000:post_uid1]Hi guys, how was your weekend like? :)
I just got back home from a drive up Mt. Dandenong along the twisties! For Melbourne ppl, take Burwood Hwy and keep going straight down and head onto Mt Dandenong Tourist Road - fun begins when you hit Devils Elbow! (Melway Page 74J7) Just hope I didn't get caught for speeding! Had a nice fast drive in the astina and have to admit the Astina handles very nice on twisties roads (and mine's a stock standard 97 NA hatch with 16" rims and Cat back exhaust) even with stock suspension! :) The astina loves to rev, and had the car sliding on 2 hair pin bends (Devils Elbow for those in Melbourne)
Only think that was bad is the F***ing headlights.... they are really really crap... had to use high beam a lot and flicking on and off high beam so as not to piss off oncoming traffic is annoying... Is there a remedy for improving the lighting/distance of the astina's headlights... I remember Mal saying he replaced it with some other light globes... does this made a big improvement?
My friend drove it as well and was impressed by the way it handled and this is from a Pugeout 206GTI owner (Boy does the 206GTI handle!)
Now I'm thinking about saving up for a Whiteline suspension kit and extractors... :;):
I hate the crappy headlights on my astina... they need to be brighter and cover more distance![/color:post_uid1]
