Not standard, you can get one out of a 626/MX6 but i'm not entirely sure if it fits... It would be cool if someone had done it somewhere!![/color:post_uid0]

What you droppin in it this time? How about a Honda engine? Could be a challenge, and V-tec is good fun (I used to have an Integra, hehe) and turbo V-tec is even better!! Booobaaaaaaaa... PSSSHHHTT!! hahaha [/color:post_uid0]

For an interesting read go to Solomiata.com and read about
his FE3 turbo motor transplant that is stroked and using
Chevy rods. Sounds wild. It has me thinking a bit :)

i got me a standard V6, although there is a bit of confusion as to what a standard V6 is... ??? hey lantisV6NZ is yours 1995 cc or 1998 cc? oh by the way, if you could add to the poll... the 1.5 dohc.. it was the BA hatch (94-98) and by far the most popular/common 323f/astina in ireland and the UK... cheers[/color:post_uid0]

Hey Chuky, I'm not possitive on the exact CC rating of my Lanits... Not sure how much difference 3cc's actually makes - maybe about 0.15Kw, if that! Maybe its an Astina vs. Lantis thing, I'll have to check it out...
I'm not sure how to put new topics into the poll, I would if I could!![/color:post_uid0]

Oh yeah, sorry I forgot about all the 2.5L V6 Supercharged 323's out there! LOL :D
Should I also put the 8L V12 ones, where people do that simple Aston Martin Vanquish engine transplant?!
And maybe there needs to be an option to choose 3L V6 V-tec (for all you who put Honda NSX engines into your 323's) hahaha :p[/color:post_uid0]
2L V6.
Maybe the V6's will beat the turbo's - if only in number! :D *:D *:D
Really keen to go nuts with a turbo on the V6 but finding it hard to justify spending the money, time and effort.
2.5L V6 is interesting though.[/color:post_uid0]

Yes, the 2.5L V6 from the MX-6 is a very nice engine. Plenty of power and torque for my liking. Could you imagine that engine in the 323! With 122kw and about 120kg's lighter than a MX-6 I'd imagine that it would fly. Probably not as much as a turbo though. Bastards! :p :p

Why go an Austin Martin if you could go a Lexus V8
Supercharged. They can fit that bugger into a MX5
the engine bay of the Astina looks bigger than a MX5.
Tricky conversion but would be oh so sweet with the
blower sound.

Sorry man, didn't mean to make fun! Was just adding to the list of engines people should put in their 323's!!!
BTW - I live in Wellington where there are no sheep, just lots of pigs... who drive Commodores with flashy lights![/color:post_uid0]
