Hi all,

i have a BJ II with 14" steelies. i want to get some 15" preferably the one like BJ I's standard 5 spokes.

i have seen a Nissan Pulsar (N15) with those style wheels but 16 inch. i have also found similar design on the web which they called "Advanti B"

are they actually the same wheels :?: coz Mazda dealer wants $400 each !!

thanks

it's more than likely - the BA got stuck with Auscar rims rebadged as mazda ones. They've got to get them from somewhere!

There is a good chance my 5 spoke CSA 14" alloys will be available after I put the 17" wheels on.....

Here is a pic of them on my BA, I don't know if they will fit your car but am sure one of the guys here can tell you... they are 4 spoke 4 * 100's

Hey Kitty, how can I get hold of them number plates that black out when you take a picture of them?

Sure would help against those revenue raising multinova's.

:D

Curses bad luck last night. :x

When I lived in WA I used to get stung by the dreaded Multi Nova's.....

For those that don't know, they look like giant black dildo's poking out of the bushes at ya!!!

In ACT they are big white Vans parked on the side of the road on KNOWN roads

Unfortunately, sometimes they still get us..... b@stids!!!!!

Good luck fruitbat38

Hi Kitty, sorry it took me so long, i miss the last line lured away by the pictures... :)
i am located in Sydney.

To Sabrelli, yeah, i know they are small, but i only want 15, try to keep my unsprung weight down, plus i want to keep it standard looking.

Hmm, you wouldn't be talking about this rim by any chance? These came standard on the 2000 BJ1 (15"x5.5")

yep, that is the one i was talking about. i know they are standard from BJ I and some very early BJII.

what i want to know is where to get them and what is the model number.
(apart from Mazda dealer, way too expensive, might as well get 17 inch BBS  )

As i have seem them on a Nissan Pulsar in 16 inch form, so am sure there are aftermarket avaliable.

I also heard that most Mazda, Honda and some other Jap car's wheels are made by Enkei, but under licening regulation, Enkei are not allow to sell them to public.

Yeah they are definitely Enkei's (as it says on the back of the wheel when I had them in my lounge room), and they are 15 x 5.5 or (6") not exactly sure. Have you tried some wreckers? Or maybe some people who are upgrading their wheels can sell you their old set?

Great, at least i am sure they are from Enkei then. Thanks !!!

i am not too sure about getting them second hand, as i wouldn't know if they have crake/damaged.

anyhow, thanks for the lead !! :P

No problem dude ... good luck with it ..

Just as a note, I ran into a curb once, and it dented the rim pretty badly (like butter ) and after it was repaired, they sent the rim to a rim repairer woh shaved it off, polished it, balanced, etc and it seriously looked like a brand new rim. I was very impressed with the result, so don't discount 2nd hand rims just yet, unless its actually cracked (which is 90% of the time unrepairable without sacrificing safety [ie. exploding under stress]) or really dented quite badly.
