Hey buds,

just a quick and stupid question, how does one find out what chipset there computer is?

Trying to get a CCTV capture card and one im looking at says it only works on Intel 845, 865 & 915

CPU-Z (http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html) is free and will tell you on the 3rd tab.

Lookup the motherboard specs on the manufacturers web site.

They are really old chipsets, 845&860 is the old socket 478 Pentium 4 and the 915 chipset is very early socket 775.

Look for a newer capture card.

ahhh okk...all the capture cards i can see are about $20 + postage...but i dont wanna go skimpy on it...dont want good cameras and **** card/software...
