someone tried to brake into my car lastnight around 4

story goes like this this
my mum wakes up because she can hear something outside so she looks out the window to see two men in dark clothing standing next to my dads vt commodore
she screams and my dad and i wake up. i run to the front of the house to see them running down the road. so i quickly grab my cricet bat and the dog (male cockaspaniel bites anyone it dont know) and jump in my mums car and tear down the road trying to find them. my dad does the same in his car
we werent going to let them get away with it

so after 45 mins of not finding the phuckers. i come back home
my dads rear left quater panel facing the street has been removed and the drivers side lock on my astinas door which was in the driveway and been destroyed
my key goes into the lock but cant turn it. looks like they tried to hammer a screw driver into the lock and it jammed up. shows how good the astinas are to the phuckers. my guess is they wanted to take my car but couldnt with out waking us up so they tried my dads. if my mum hadent woken up they might have taken my dads car

the dog normally is in the louge room and barks when ever someone walks near the house butdue to the warm weather of late hes been in the back yard but now hes back in the house. the alarm in my car hasent been working well of late and doesent activate the engine immoblisher sometimes.
i guess i got lucky really

so now the dog stays out front. and need to to get new locks (gonna pm dan about the ones out his scrappy fingers crossed he has them still). and im gonna update my alarm so if anyone can give suggestions or price guides would be fanastic and fix the immoblisr
thing is they didnt target anyone else in the street but these two cars so i guess they wanted mine. due to this im going to keep down what i do to my car and what i buy quite on this site from now on. i dont tell anyone in public what i do to my car and now im going to be even more strigent

so if the the people who did it read this. **** you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! next time your gonna lose a chuck of your leg to my dog and im bringing a baseball bat next time

sorry about the language guys needed to vent some steam

we have a two car garage
one side for stuff the other for car
mine and my dad were outside
my parents wont sleep now for a few months because they will be worried
lucky dan has a spare set of locks and keys so thats good
my dads car pretty much stock now anyway and he was thinking of selling it soon
now he needs to get a new window for it. but being a commodore hoping it wont be too pricy

there rthe scum of the earth in my view
where i live is pretty tight community so i went around to few places asking if they saw anything
unluckly no did but everyone is keeping a eye out now for our cars and everyone elses as well

Oh man that sucks to hear :( paranoia is a fudged up thing to shake, but b careful with the dog n bat, better take a camera with a good flash, that way only they will get in trouble
Large % of break ins in suburban areas are done by neighbors as well..

Aw crap dude! :(

Isn't a good thing to happen matey. Makes me worry about my car! They better not

Mum was telling me a few weeks ago someone broke into a workmate of hers daughters 323 an stole some mechanical gear from the car like radiator and power steer. Might have been the same blokes after something from your car?!

Don't worry mate, they'll get their karma. Next time it won't be someone with a dog and cricket bat...

Can the police dust the cars for prints at all?

Police CBF... I was deliberately rammed a few years back and despite it happening in a servo with video surveillance they treated me like I was wasting their time and suprise suprise... nuffink happened.
NSW police may be the best that can be bought but Vic police are the laziest!
