Recommendation -1992 bg sp

Hey guys. Looking at getting some new rubber for my bg(just 2 for the front). i am located in adelaide, and after doing a bit of ringing around i found the following

Bob Jane - Bridgestone ADRENALIN (185/60R14) $121 each. Fitted and balanced.

Im looking for decent grip( i do alot of driving in the hills) plus winter is coming therefore i want good grip in the wet. Road noise is not an issue for me. i was hoping to get atleast 40k out of my new set.

Open to recommendations.

go 15s and get wider rubber. 185/60R14 just isn't gonna net to ever much grip. lots of flexing tyre wall.

195/50R15 tyres will also be cheaper than the rareish size opted for originally.

Thanks for your assistance. Do you recommend a brand. will i still get 40k out of them, if i take care of them?

asking for high grip and 40K wear out of them is a big ask.
