After having only Sub, amp and 6x9's in back shelf for about 3 weeks.

Finally got six inch splits in front door. :D

If anyone else has the BG (one with pop up headlights) you probably know how crap the holes are for front and rear speakers. Unless I totally stuffed up my measuring, standard you can only fit 4" front and back.

Gets out power tools...

Anyway, apart from Sub which is 10" Earthquake, I can't remember details of other stuff, but it sounds cool.

Now I just need to find lots of money for other mods I want to do.

Anyone have ideas for FREE mods? :D

Lucky, speaker holes in my doors only had 45mm behind. I had to put fiberglass risers in to fit larger speakers.

I'm sure the diameter of the speaker holes were only big enough for 4" and I had the SP. Oh well.

ive got a 91 SP and finally finished puttin the ****ing head unit and split speakers
what a BAAAAAAAAATTTIIIIIIIICHHT
it took ages to custom make the brackets to hold the head unit in
and the face plate was like 2 mm too big on each side
also for puttin the splits in the doors
that took ages too
cause they hit the window when it was fully down :(

Next time, I'll pay someone to install the damn stuff.

It was fun. I can say I installed my sound system myself. My car hasn't burnt to the ground in an amazing display of crappy diy installation... But for all the hassles, nope. Here is some money Mr install guy, put it in for me.

hmmm bugger eh??? took me less than 15 minutes to install my gf's stereo to her KN Laser (BJ astina lookalike.. ie wolf in sheeps clothing)

forethought required about 10 minutes of my time

Did you not make some MDF baffles?? 12-16mm stuff should get you out of trouble..
