Well to cut a long story short was having a burn up clear mountain road tonight when i came into one corner that keeps tightening and overcooked it. Usually not a problem but this time a car wanted to come the other way so I got on the wheel nice and hard and I ended up leaving the road backwards at 65 klm/h. No damage (cept to my pride) thank goodness but i need a new pair of underwear. came back and had a look and it was the only part of the road where the trees are more than 1 meter back from the road. Thank goodness the new shocks are going in on Monday!!

Got to keep an eye out for those other people on the road dude.

Glad to hear there was no damage, to cars or people.

yeah i was being pretty stupid so i deserve it. still it will be good to test it out when the new shocks are in. For those that havent driven clear mountain road (im guessing thats everyone) it a 6 klm twisting mountain road with all dofferent grades on surfacing and lots on tight tricky corners. Good Fun!!!

If the 'stina don't drift, try harder.

Don't do it where there are trees or other motorists.

neither does the celica, but i don't have to drive one the wrong side of the road to take an easy corner :P

Drifting went out in the '50s since then traction has ruled, it may look and sound realy cool to an audience but they aint paying your maintenance bills.

I see some driving skills courses in your future and maybe a CAMS licence for some serious driving challenges
