Not maybe people do up autos. But I know there's one or 2 on here. I'd show you mine but it's manual.

I don't think i can drive an auto car again. I'll always have to buy a manual. but yeah manual too.

I think you will find that most people on car forums are car lovers and if you enjoy driving normally you prefer a manual.
I have owned 10 cars and only one was an auto and that was a Nissan 280ZX and it would have been better as a manual.
I do think a JDM sport 20 with its tiptronic would be quicker than a Aus new SP20 manual

i gots a auto :) only have an auto cause my left knee is completely f***ed

I liked my 280ZX and it was manual, gunmetal grey with cherry velour interior. Too much rust though:(
My only autos have been the 929 and V6 BA only because they were convenient.

As far as looks go there's no difference, apart from the shifter and lack of clutch pedal obviously :p

As far as im aware, it dont matter what transmission you have, we all know the BJ SP20 is set for handling ;)

After friday nights cruise I think I need some bracing I felt a little body roll as I slide around a few corners and shyt myself lol. Probably why I lost dans starlet lol

You need a DSG ;) but becareful they break alot and cost a load to fix lol

Whats stopping someone from buying the tiptronic auto and throwing it in an auto sp20, surely it would only be just the ecu needed?

I think because I work in a Vw workshop I see all the bad things makes it seem worse than it is. Lol but yeah becareful out of warranty a DSG to repair will cost thousands. Lol

Next car very likely TDCi Focus with the Powershift (ZFs own dual clutch system)

When I looked into it last you'd need the electronic version of the 4F27E box, the tiptronic control unit, the ECU, and the instrument cluster. And also the wiring loom that supports it. Easier to just sell up and buy a 3.
